Another great Ryobi product
Another great Ryobi product, this garden vac was a replacement for an old corded vac. It’s light weight, easy to use and of course because it’s battery, no cable to snag up or run out of cable.Suction power is good and the bag holds plenty of leaves and garden rubbish

Fabulous tool
Iam a big ryobi fan and already have quite a collection so buying this with confidence was quite easy. It's a great tool and since having it has made my life a lot easier .it's strong and very well made ,good power and gets job done no more rake and shovel for leaves ,falling flower heads during summer blossoming etc does a clean fast job and not a chore.i use heavy duty batteries on most of my ryobi tools to give plenty of power which is key I believe to cordless working properly and to it's best.so I would recommend this as it's not too heavy either and easy to empty bag .

Good suction, but hard to assemble, at least initially
This has good suction, but it can get blocked easily if large items cannot pass by the cutter/fan.It's a bit of a pain to assemble, and if you need to dissemble for storage/unblocking it's a faff.Overall good, bust as with most suction/blowers quite heavy and unwieldy.

A bit disappointed.
I used a fully charged 5.0a battery and found the vacuum weaker than expected...struggled to pick up broad leaves and if picking up heaps of small leaves , it easily chokes up ...I had to disassemble & clear it twice within 20 mins of starting. The blower is adequate. Once I'd got used to the capabilities & limitations of the machine I had no further problems. My wife indoors found it quite noisy.

Think twice
I received the tool with high hopes due to the other tools I have from Ryobi. I was very disappointed. It was relatively straight forward to put together.Once started, it picked up a handful of leaves quickly and then became unable to pick up anything. After 15 minutes struggling to detach the flute to see if there was a block, a small amount of chopped leaves fell out. I started again, and no more than 30 minutes later it happened again.Leaves were dry and no compacted.A very poor tool - a shame - and makes me think twice about using Ryobi again.Should have watched the YouTube videos first - not the first to find this by all accounts.

Good suction although it drains batteries quickly
Good suction, but wouldn't use on wet material, but happy with dry performance.4-5.5Ah batteries are best (are their higher available?), as they drain pretty quickly if you have a large area.I like the lever so you don't have to grip the trigger for long periods and the boost function does help.Once you have the bag attachment method worked out its pretty easy, but its not immediately apparent and could do with a redesign.

Hubby loves it
My husband has loads of Ryobi kit but needed/wanted this leaf blower. Been used several times for far and it is a succsess. Not too heavy to handle

Clogs easily
I bought this to pick up hedge clippings, leaves etc..nothing it wasn't designed for. Made sure it was working ok (you need the more powerful batteries), tried it out, thought it was ok so threw away the box as it's huge. Then I tried using it 2 weeks later properly...thought I had done something wrong as it stopped picking up hedge clippings. Tried it again on a different day and after a few seconds it stops sucking anything up...took it apart and found that leaves and other detritus are wedged between the blades and the frame, similar to the way grass cuttings form inside a lawn mower. Unlike a lawn mower you can't shift it with a stick in 2 seconds, you need to dismantle it and it's really fiddly. So it's not fit for purpose, even on dry leaves it stops working quickly so now I have an expensive and useful bit of kit in the shed. It's a shame as I really like my other Ryobi one+ tools but this one is poorly designed. Don't know if I can return it without the box.
