Maskal Teff Organic Brown Grain, 14 Ounce (6 pack)

Bought this to make gluten free, nutritious items for my kid, it’s excellent quality and great value compared to other comparable brands and sizes, has a pleasantly nutty taste and unique fine grained texture, I used it to make pudding as reccomended by the recipe on the bag and didn’t love the texture, the grains are very small and chewy and hard to dissolve. Will try again in bread or grinding into flour, as I like the flavor but didn’t enjoy as pudding.

They really should highlight that this is grown in the USA. I kept skipping the listing due to the brand name because I thought it was just an import from a reseller, so who knows if it's really organic, etc. But when I finally looked up their website it seems like it's high quality/legit. I was looking for a vegan calcium source and teff has the most calcium off any grain, plus it's tasty and has a nice chewy texture. Would recommend.

I like it a lot. Especially for its protein & fiber to calorie ratio. Filling and good to mix with some lentils etc. Good substitute as a base or a side instead of things like beans or rice

Very nice. Makes a great gluten free substitute for Cream of Wheat.

Honestly, I didn’t like this teff. The texture was much finer than I expected, and it’s not what I intended to use it for. It might work for certain recipes, but it just didn’t meet my needs.
