Purple Pink Hair Chalk

This is the first time I ever let my daughter color her hair and she was so excited. She just needed to see how it’s done once and now sneaks it before school lol … The only down side I have is that it comes in a tiny with no instructions but I think it’s on the page and simple and if you have a cabinet it can just be in there it doesn’t like make a mess or anything just sitting there and comes out easy. She’s blonde though so idk if darker hair will show the color as much as hers

Directions are to spray the hair wet, comb this chalk on and then blow dry to set it. The pink worked better than the purple on dark brown hair. Because of its size, this is better used for small sections of hair rather than getting color throughout. We would use it all up if we did the full head of hair. This is great for a pop of color during comic-con or a party.

Didn’t work at all.

I ordered this for fun to share with the nieces when they come over. The chalk works as it is supposed to. If your hair is oily or greasy then you need to wash it prior. Run the chalk down the hair with the comb. The pink came out better on my light hair. The purple came out fine but the pink was more intense which I really liked. My nieces liked the purple because it is their favorite color. They have light brown long hair. It washed out easily with shampoo. If you want a bit more intense color or you have fragile hair a spray conditioner would help. A good price for what you get.

I've used the chalk pens before and not been able to get the coverage that I wanted without spending a lot of time. The way this is set up to be a comb with the chalk in it works a whole lot better. A few strokes through your hair and you've got good coverage. I highly recommend this.

Cannot seem to get wet enough to color the dark blonde hair. In theory sounds easy, but not very effective results.

I have medium blonde hair and was hopeful this hair chalk would show better than the coloring conditioners I've tried in the past. There was no color transfer without dampening my hair first. Then you have to either wait for it to dry or blow it dry, but if you brush it too much, a fair amount of the chalk comes off and the color fades. The pink shows much better than the purple - actually the pink was vibrant and looked cool, just don't brush it out. Another drawback is trying to style my hair after applying the color; that's why I think it's best for color accents.

My daughter and her friends are doing a neon theme so this was the perfect accent for them to add to their hair. Tried it out to make sure it works in a small area and it does not disappoint.
