Great pen and good value. Superb performance.
Great improvement over older metallic Bic red rollerball pens which I have used for more than 25 years. Very reliable and improved rubber grip.

These BIC rollers work, and don't leak on airplanes (which is a big deal for a traveler). Have probably bought 10 or 12 dozen over the last 10 years, just for me. My go to pen.

Can't go wrong
You cannot go wrong with these BIC fine point roller pens. Although they say fine point, the do not write as such. I have all three colors red, black, and blue!

I also used this pen to grade papers, but ...
I also used this pen to grade papers, but I found it unsatisfactory. I generally prefer 0.5mm pens, but in this one, the thinner ink delivery created a problem. The pen skipped frequently, forcing me to retrace lines I had already drawn. Anyone who has graded a large stack of papers knows that the last thing you want to do is spend time retracing strokes you've already made. It takes more time, and it sends a somewhat sloppy message to the student, particularly when there are frequent retraced strokes, as was the case with this pen.In order to get it to write freely, I had to change my normal grip on the pen (which isn't some bizarre grip that I alone possess) and hold it completely differently from what I normally would. This created cramping and generally made the pen unusable. I had to choose between a hand cramp or a large number of retraced strokes.I ultimately gave the pens away, for free.

Awesome red pens!
They're very good quality, nice red pens. They flow nice and leave a very nice line.

Very Sloppy
I find the ink flow to be uneven and sloppy.Ink also bleeds onto the second page.

Awesome value for a pen that will write on almost anything
I'm an engineer checker, these will write on almost anything, on paper the ink drys fast so doesn't smear if you give it a second r2 to soak in.

wouldn't buy again - disappointed
i have bought the other colors (black and blue) and for some reason, they suck.at first, the black 0.5 was working really well and i enjoyed using that pen so much - especially since the ink dried quickly (esp. in comparison to the Pilot G2 - my usual go to pen)HOWEVER, after a month or so, the pens started acting up and becoming scratchy. the ink did not flow smoothly as when i first used it and this annoyed me a lot. i also bought the blue 0.7 version, thinking that the ink would not have such similar issues but it ended up just being as bad. i threw out half the box, b/c only half the pens worked well. the rest kept writing like it was about to run out of ink.i am highly disappointedfortunately, so far, for the red pens, they all work pretty wellbut im not very optimistic -- probably in a few months or even less, i might run into the same problem again, which is unfortunate,b/c these pens are great pens in my opinion IF THEY WORK though.i think i will just stick to pilot and uniball though
