I’m using this to situate DJI LiDAR unit underneath a large cinema lens on a gimbal. Included hardware allows you to locate the unit above or below the lens. Depending on your setup, it maneuvers in tight spaces and is fashioned to fit evenly with the front of your lens, unless you have a super long-range focal length. Sturdy enough to hold the LiDAR unit in place and even more adjustable if you use other third-party parts to custom fit it to your rig. Solidly made. Just need to take care when removing or replacing the tiny screws so as not to drop or lose them. Well done.

My video explains it all, but this solves a lot of the problems I originally had when I first got a DJI LiDAR unite (used with an RS3 Pro) where the only option they really gave you was a cold shoe type of mount. This allows you to mount it to the top, side or bottom of a camera cage, then have several options for ways to vary the positioning and height of of the LiDAR unit. I have seen other LiDAR mounting options from companies like Kondor that cost literally $100 more, way more clunky, and definitely add a lot more weight. This thing easily beats those options!

Keeps camera nive and compact with the extra lidar equipment mounted. Happy with this kit.
