Soundbar SK1 2.0 ch Compact Sound Bar with Bluetooth

it was easy to install this to my parent’s older TV (LG 42LK450-UB). Connected the included cable to the Optical Digital Audio Out port, plugged it in, changed input on their regular tv remote, and it worked. The key is that my parents did not want to have to use the soundbar remote, and this worked through the regular TV remote.

Easy to install and connect to my LG TV. Not stereo surround sound quality for music. But for the price it is perfect. Good for hearing challenged.

Product arrived as scheduled, price was a bit better than competitors, connectivity was extremely simple and quick. Although the sound quality of the soundbar is an improvement over the speakers on the 32"TV it is not super crisp and not very loud. I'm in the process of spending a few days with the soundbar to decide whether to keep or return, at this point it could go either way.

Use in RV with television because of air conditioner noise. Much easier to hear TV without turning up the volume. Voices are much more clear tone. One drawback is that it needs to be turned on and off with supplied remote.

As one who almost always writes a review for any product I buy, I should have paid attention to those who warned against purchasing this sound bar in their reviews. Although both of my TVs are LGs, which work beautifully, the reviews for this sound bar were somewhat mixed. I guess anything that makes it for one year at a price tag of $82 can’t be all bad, but this sound bar comes close. First off, the sound quality was borderline better than the built-in speakers that came with the TV. Since we have 10 foot ceilings, I purchased the sound bar with the hope that rather than having the sound of the built-in speakers bounce upward off the mantle beneath the TV, it would be directed forward from the sound bar. What I hadn’t counted on was the relatively poor sound quality of the sound bar itself. Imagine my surprise, however, when, I turned on my TV this morning and the sound bar didn’t come on as well. Thinking the batteries were probably dead, I replaced them. Fuggedaboutit!! The red light stays on, and no amount of cajoling with the remote has any effect upon the sound bar. It’s D-E-A-D. Almost one year to the day from the time I bought it. So, lesson learned. If the reviews are mixed for a product, avoid it like the plague. This sound bar is a loser.

This Soundbar works awesome, it is light weight, small & easy to carry and set up. It sounds very loud for the size of the Soundbar the sound quality is awesome. It was a great deal that I found on Amazon for only $79.00 it was totally worth the price that I paid and I am very happy with my purchase. You can't get a better deal than this! Quality of the sound is good even without a sub. Use it every day on my TV with no issues.

very good LG sound bar for 43 inch LG TV. But it isn't too loud, and lacks bass.

Thank you Amazon for offering me a name brand product for a lesser price and listing the reasoning in the description. I appreciated that I could purchase something to help me hear better that didn’t break the bank. Love this sound bar thus far!
