Well Made Solar Mounts
Well made parts. Put 2 200 watt panels on my shed. The only thing I wish it had was a couple more end clamps. Overall worked out well. Would buy again if needed.

No the highest quality, but get the job done.
Not my preferred option, but gets the job done I guess.One thing i noticed is that having ordered several kits, some kits come with Insulating Pad at the bottom of the foot, and other kits don't... This doesn't really make any difference for me as I'm gluing everything anyway and putting them on top of the metal flashing for added leak protection, but may make a difference if placed directly on the shingles.

Mounting kit for a small solar array - high quality and versatile
The hardware in this kit is meant to mount two solar panels of thickness up to 1.5" to a flat surface. (this kit is only intended for aluminum framed, monofacial panels, NOT bifacial panels nor thin flexible solar panels.) There are four types of aluminum brackets included, plus hex head bolts to fasten the brackets. All of the parts in the kit are superb quality with no rough edges. The solar panels are mounted in a pattern of one panel high and two across with this kit. Also there are 6 lag screws supplied, meant to attach to a roof or other wooden support structure. Two T-shaped brackets secure the two inner corners of the two solar panels, and four L shaped brackets secure the four outer corners of the panels. The brackets fit into aluminum rails which are attached to L brackets that in turn attach to the wood surface. The photos in the product description show this kit being used to mount the panels to a roof. I have a plan to construct a rectangular frame of 2x4s and use the kit to attach the panels to the frame and these brackets will work perfectly for that application. The two panels can then be sat on the ground with a brace in back to point the panels at the sky - for a temporary solar array. That is one idea for using this kit even if you do not wish to attach panels to your roof.
