Perfect keychain flashlight
There are a few reviewers here on Amazon who claim to be "flashlight geeks." I am not a flashlight geek. I'm a guy who does light construction, car and home repairs. (Everything from walls, sheds, roofing, to electrical, and plumbing.) I don't geek out on tools like some cool new cell phone. I *use* them to get a job done. I've had a small flashlight hanging from my keychain for decades. They come in handy for peeking into dark spaces where wires and plumbing go, walking (and cleaning up after) the dog at night, when camping, and when the power goes out. It's nice to always have a flashlight right there at my side and not to have to dig in a toolbox to find one. (Or, more likely for me, to need to figure out where I last put it down. With a keyring flashlight, I clip it right back onto my keyring when I'm done using it.) I've had four keyring flashlights. The first was a MicroMag Maglight with a AAA battery and an incandescent bulb. Had it for years until deciding to get a smaller, thumb-sized light with an old-style LED, but gave up on it and went back to my MicroMag. More recently I bought an LED light that was about the same size as my MicroMag, but had three levels of illumination. I used a rechargeable AAA battery for it ann really liked that setup. Now I've moved in to this even smaller all-in-one rechargable keyring flashlight with a USB port for charging. This little guy is smaller, lighter, and brighter than the MicroMag light and LED knockoff I replaced it with. It has four levels of illumination, a "candlelight" level (that I don't find particularly useful), low, bright, and super-bright that you scroll through with quick presses of the power button. A long press of the power button keeps the the flashlight on high until released. This little guy gets the job done. Pros: * Four light levels, really dim, useful for close-in work, bright enough to see across a room, and bright enough to hunt for something you dropped outside. * Two modes, a momentary on mode that keeps the light on at its highest setting for as long as the button is pushed and a constant light mode that stays on until turned off. * A single charge lasts for hours of regular use. * Smaller than the key fob for my car * Cons * Its small and packs both the LED light and a charger into that tiny case with a lithium battery, so the battery isn't very big. This isn't the light to reach for if you need hours and hours of bright illumination.

Love the super bright compact flashlights!
These RovyVon mini lights are amazing. They are USB C rechargeable and seem to last a week of continuous use while working. They are compact enough to keep on your keyring and charge with your phone charger. I have purchased multiple versions of these lights for myself and to give as gifts. With my experience using these lights, I have no problem with giving them as gifts as they a rock solid piece of gear. I like the bright orange as part of my hiking kit because it's easier to see and grab without having to search for it. The accessory clip also makes it easy to attach to a hat for use as a headlamp, but I mostly just keep it in my pocket with a knife and Bic lighter. Don't be scared of the price, it's worth it. Sometimes you will find them discounted by 30%arounfvthe holidays, so that's a good time to stock up!

So small, you can have it on you ALWAYS!
I repair photocopiers for a living (yeah, "glamorous" I know..."Hello Ladies!...") and I have this light attached to my key-chain. I WAS using a AAA-powered LED twist-on flashlight for a year, but this is brighter and smaller AND rechargeable! In my line of work, I use this EVERY day; multiple times a day. I never use the Low Power nor the Strobe but the High and Medium Power are my go-to uses. I love the fact that it is SO small so that I ALWAYS have it with me! I don't need to reach into my toolkit and rummage around to find a bigger unit. The manual states that after 2 min. on High Power, the unit will lower it's brightness due to heat produced by the high-powered LED. As My job/life doesn't require more than say, a minute of use, I've never encountered this adjustment. If I were exploring haunted houses for an hour or two at a time, this wouldn't be the unit I would choose. If you just want to see in a darkened movie theater, or find that screw that rolled under a table, or give your friend a seizure with the strobe effect, I cannot think of a better flashlight!

Hugely improved metal button, brighter Turbo, MUCH dimmer moonlight mode.
Much much brighter than my previous pink plastic one with the circular rubber button. The metal button is a huge Improvement. Identical UI. The Moonlight mode is 50% or more dim. It's almost a little bit too dim. I like the Moonlight mode on my previous one however I thought it was a little bright. I would have picked something 25% less bright. Also, the beam profile is much more focused and less floody. This is user preference but I liked the the flood beam profile of my previous one better but this is so much brighter. Not just because it's a more narrow beam. So it still lights up the area just as much but there is more of a drop off from the center bright spot rather then a gradual drop off. In the picture the left is the new one, the right is the old one. You can see that the left beam is brighter but more focused. I don't know if this is because the battery is worn out on my old one or it's due to the new LED. The new one flashlight definitely has a different brighter LED.

Water resistance TESTED and exceeded!
I was putting a transfer pump into a rain barrel tonight to drain it and my beloved little flashlight and all my keys fell straight in all the way down 34" into the barrel. I thought for sure it would be toast. I spent a couple moments thinking 'WTH do I do?!" The light was still shining but I couldn't reach all the way to the bottom and I couldn't dump the barrel over on its side with 800 lbs of water in it etc so I just had to turn on the pump and wait patiently for the pump to drain out the water. I kept walking up to the barrel and looking in expecting the flashlight to have died but there it was - still glowing in the murky water. The first picture is looking into the water and you can't really tell what is going on because the light from the flashlight was making my phone camera's flash not go off - haha! I finally figured out how to fool the flash sensor on my phone when the water was down to 6 inches or so. If you look closely you can see a thumb drive there too - I'm sure it is toast because RovyVon doesn't make thumb drives! What an awesome flashlight - it took 4 or 5 minutes to get the water down low enough to tip the barrel over. That exceeds what IPX6 is supposed to be able to do because IPX7 says immersion down to 3.3 ft (1 meter) and IPX6 doesn't say anything about immersion. The barrel finally got light enough to dump sideways and there it was still running in amongst soggy leaves (last picture). I love these little flashlights! I have 3 of them in use now and use them 10x what the vast majority of people would use a keychain flashlight because I work at night and up until nearly dawn. They get constantly used and abused and keep on going for a surprising length of time. They are crazy bright - I wish they would make a headlamp because they are better than any of the headlamps I have. They are a great company too - I had problems with one that I bought getting hotter than it should and they sent a new one immediately - and an upgraded version at that! Right on RovyVon! Given the deal they have going on right now quite a few people are getting RovyVon flashlights for Christmas.

.
Stupidly bright for its size, the battery life lasts quite a while I ran it through the wash and it held up as well!

Quite Bright Keychain Flashlight
I ordered one of these about 18 months ago, and was initially drawn by the rechargability and convenient keychain size of this. It really does make a nicely sized keychain, and while I can't expect hours of use on high, I use it quite a bit more frequently than I'd expect day-to-day. It's quite bright for the size, and I feel it's held up quite well. It has a simple single button that can be pressed for immediate brightest light -- you'd better believe it's startlingly bright! I use that several times a week to shine a light on something in a dark corner or when looking under something. Also a few times a week to shine a path for my wife to the car in a dark parking area, or when hunting for something in a closet. I went with the bright orange color, which makes the keys easy to see in a drawer. The only wear I've seen is that the plug cover for the micro USB port fell off pretty quickly. Still, it lives in my pocket, and as long as I don't toss it in a pool I think it would be just fine in the long run. If it lasts at least another year, I don't think I'd hesitate to buy another and consider it a good value at this price point.

Impressive!
Tried a couple of others (which had good reviews, but turned out to have flaws) but this one outshines them both in every way: Great design, durable, reliable and surprisingly powerful. Love it!👍👍

What a great little torch
So much light from such a small torch! Three levels of brightness. Impressive quality. Light in weight and easily attached to key ring or stored in purse or pocket. Am very satisfied with the purchase.

klein, leicht, robust, leuchtstark, wiederaufladbar - perfekt!
