Stapster Caotina (Switzerland) Classic Cocoa Drink with Premium Swiss Chocolate, 500g - Original

Well packed and the real thing we enjoyed in Switzerland!

This Stapster Caotina cocoa drink is tasty, however you only really get the creamy richness if you make this with milk. And I find I typically have to exceed the recommended amount per serving to get it to where I want it flavor-wise. But you get a nice sweet chocolatey vibe with hints of salt.

This is a 500 gram canister of Caotina Swiss chocolate drink powdered mix. It arrived fresh and factory sealed. Although the canister looks similar to most hot cocoa mixes, as it turns out this mix can be used either hot or cold. The other nice thing about this is that you make it with milk rather than water. Cocoa mixes that are made with water are usually thin and lack richness. Not so with this since it is mixed with milk. I like cold sweet drinks rather than hot sweet drinks, so I mixed this drink powder with cold milk following the measurements on the label. It mixed well without clumping. The flavor of the drink was delicious, rich, creamy, and chocolatey. It definitely would also be great hot, if that's your preference. The only real issue with this is that I'm not sure I'm convinced the value is there for this mix, which is to say, whether it's enough better than other mixes to justify the hefty price. But if you really love fancy, high quality chocolate drinks, this one is delicious.
