I was looking for a slim "real" carbon fiber frame and this one was at a reasonable price and looked like well built.I wanted to see how it would hold up before I reviewed it so it has been installed on the car for the past few months and it has shown no signs of wear. It looks exactly like the day it was installed.It has real carbon fibres woven on top of the light aluminum frame, it has been polished and clear coated.The nice thing about it is that it comes with a whole bunch of mounting hardware , screws, clips and sticky foam squares that stop the plate from rattling everytime the trunk gets slammed.The only thing I didn't like was the screw caps which are not carbon fiber, but they look nice never the less. (Put them in hot water or leave them out in the sun for a bit so they are plyable and don't snap when installing.)I ordered the matt finish by mistake, wich looked great but it wasn't flashy enough for my taste. They also have a glossy finish too, which I also got and in my opinion it's fantastic looking. It complements the chrome bits in the car, and doesn't take a lot of real estate. At the same time its clean and if you get close enough you can see the real fibers.

I didn't read close enough to see these were metal frame with a vacuum pressed carbon fiber fabric pressed/glued on. Looks good though and didn't have any problem areas. Only major issue I have with the product is the frame is a satin finish but the included carbon fiber screw covers are glossy. Doesn't match right. Will have to pull the frame off later and gloss it as well to get more shine out of it and hopefully pull more of the carbon fiber weave out. Overall though, I am happy to have the dealer frame gone.

When I received this plate, it was already bent. I contacted the company and they sent me a free replacement along with a free car charger and key chain. The replacement was alot better quality than the one I received from Amazon originally (thicker and better carbon print on it). The other free stuff was garbage. I guess tale your chances on this one, and if you don't mind waiting a month for the free replcament from China, its worth the shot.

I would rate it 6 or 7 stars if possible. I had a problem with the screws. Nothing wrong, it comes with several different mounting options for almost any need... except mine. I needed screws that were slightly shorter than the long ones they sent. My particular case.I asked if they had shorter screws and not only they answered right away but they also shipped a whole bunch of other screws, different shapes and sizes. One of them worked perfectly well.They also sent a personalized letter, not only my name on it but also the description of the problem and the solution.Great product and amazing customer service. Buy with confidence.

The frame is of pretty good quality. but the finish on the screw covers is high gloss and the frame is a matte finish. WTF! I ended up using some flat black ones I had. Also, there are no tabs for bottom screws as on the top, may not be an issue in some cases but it was for me.

I like how real the carbon fiber looks but the quality is not amazing. The backside of mine was all marred and jagged but didn't seem to affect the front side so ill let it slide. It also comes with nice accessories like scratch protectors and security TORX bolts.

As pictured, this frame is entirely a matte finish -- no shine at all. The seller offered to promptly take my purchase back and exchange for their glossy version, but I wanted a slim frame for my state's stickers in the corners. Solution -- VERY LIGHTLY scuffed the frame with 1000grit wet-or-dry paper, wiped down with alcohol, and sprayed 6 coats of high grade automotive spray bomb from Advance Auto Parts. After drying, baked in the toaster oven at 150 degrees for 30 minutes. Result -- ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS DEEP SHINE!! Thoroughly satisfied! Now...that's the ticket!!
