Perfect fit

I needed a new rubber cap for the primary button on my Stinger DS-LED and found these while searching Amazon. I decided to take a chance and I am so far very pleased. The basic design is the same and they installed in the same manner the OEM would. The texture/feel is a little different, maybe a little firmer, but seems to be a good product. Time will tell on how long they last, but so far I think it is great.NOTE: This is for the upper cylinder button of your flashlight and NOT the tail cap button.

I had two old generic tail switch flashlights that the rubber had worn out on. I liked the flashlights and wanted to continue to use them but were difficult to turn on and off without the rubber boot. I got these, knowing that an exact fit was very unlikely, but I was hoping that I could use them anyway. Turns out that if I cut away the flaps and leave just the button part and glue it with silicone glue in the space where the old rubber boot had been, it works perfectly. Anyway it looks like it's completely waterproof, and I can now turn it on and off the flashlights the way they were intended. The rubber appears to be considerably thicker than the original boots that were on the flashlight so I'm hoping that they will last a long time.
