Great for my hair!
I really like this so far. I haven't been using it long enough to notice hair thickening, but my hair is already thick and I have it in dreads. This just helps me nourish the existing hair. I can definitely say ot helped with some dryness that I had and that alone is worth it.I shall continue to use this mostly as a preventative measure to avoid hair thinning!

Glossy hair
Wonderful hair product. Keeps my color treated/ damaged hair soft and shiny. After application I leave in my hair for a few hours, double shampoo, and rinse as normal. I did not see any new hair growth.

Menopausal? Dry Alligator Crepey Skin? Brittle Hair?
I have been on a kick with the Batana Butter for about six months, now. Post menopaus, my hair became so brittle and weak that even a ponytail holder would cause it to break. Even after conditioner, just combing through it was leaving a lot of hairfall. The Batana Butter works in many ways, in my case. The first thing that I noticed was that it began dissolving sixty years worth of sebum, dead skin cells and tons of product buildup on my scalp. I religiously applied and massaged with the scalp scrubber. I could see what looked like dandruff after a few weeks, but it wasn't. It was a thick layer on my scalp and there was no way that any hairs were going to be able to push through that gunk. Nor were any hair growth products going to be able to penetrate to the roots.Within a month, there was a noticeable difference in the softness of my hair and most of the 'gunk was gone. Even my frizz had softened. It wasn't like a conditioner that just coats the cuticle down, until you shampoo again. It penetrates and plumps up.As fine and thinning as it was, I was concerned that it would cause my hair to be flat, because it is a thick and heavy cream. That was not the case. My hair had more lift and volume than it has in years. I have been able to grow my hair out a bit over the six months, as I've required only a dusting on the ends and less frequent cuts.I noticed how soft my hands were after a week. This product doesn't contain Minoxidil or Rogaine. I decided to begin using it on my skin. It has been a Godsend. In six months time, the hardened keratin layers of my skin have lifted and the Batana has been able to penetrate my old lady skin as well. Again - my skin hasn't been this soft in years. Above my knees and the crepey Alligator skin is all but gone. I had no idea what an affect the dry skin was having as far as the underarm skin waggle. There is such a huge difference, it almost looks like I have been lifting weights.I am hoarding this stuff. I can never be without it again, as it is the only thing that has worked.I appreciated that this brand came with two jars and it also contains an aluminum shower cap that really helps as a heat conductor.Absolutely - go for it!

Great scent and moisture!
I did some research on batana oil benefits before ordering this Helture Raw Batana Oil to try. I read that a pure oil from Honduras should smell like rich coffee and this checks that box. Love it! It has the consistency of peanut butter but rubbing and warming in my palms make is more liquid and easy to spread. I start by giving my scalp a good massage, then pulling through my hair and adding more to mid shaft and dryer ends. I then put on a disposable cap for as hour. The scent is not one that bothers me or gives me a headache. I don’t totally rinse it out before shampooing because I do two shampoos and I still get a good lather. My hair has finally grown out and this grey hair can be wiry and dry. This batana oil smooths down the cuticle and makes strands feel strong and moisturized to the touch without the use of silicones. The natural looking shine is awesome. I am going to stick with this routine when I have time in hopes my hair won’t look straggly between hair appointments. If you were ever a fan of using Ojon oil, you will love this product. Same shine, moisture and manageability. Highly recommend!

it was ok fro what thats worth
This hair oil unfortunately falls short of expectations. While it promises to add shine and moisture, it tends to leave hair feeling greasy and weighed down. The scent is overly strong, which might not be to everyone's liking. Additionally, it doesn’t absorb well, making it difficult to style afterward. For those seeking lightweight hydration, this oil may not be the best choice. There are better options available for achieving healthy, manageable hair!

Amazing Hydration & Shine from Pure Batana Oil
My daughter & I both used this Pure Batana Oil and loved the results! Its smell kind of reminds me of coffee. My hair, which is usually dry and frizzy, felt instantly softer & more manageable after just one use. The oil is rich but didn’t leave my hair greasy, just smooth & shiny. I also love that it’s completely natural, so it's gentle on the scalp. It did take a little extra time to rinse out, but the hydration and healthy glow it gave my hair made it totally worth it. Definitely a great addition to my hair care routine!

Smells okay to me, no negative side effects
I'm balding up top so I'm always on the lookout for something to fight it. I'd never heard of batana oil so I thought I'd give it shot. Honestly, I don't think I've been using this oil long enough to form an opinion as to its efficacy. That said, I can report that I've experienced no negative effects like inflammation or itchy skin. The smell of the oil appears to be controversial, but I don't find it unpleasant at all. It smells to me a little like cocoa butter and roasted nuts, or maybe just roasted cocoa butter. Not bad at all. I have no reason to rate this less than 5 stars because it is exactly what I ordered. Should I suddenly sprout a fully head of hair or otherwise change my opinion, I'll update my review accordingly.
