Perfect party addition

At the time of review this was priced at 1.99 and that seemed like a very reasonable price for what you got.The box is small enough to fit through a letterbox as long as you order it on its own so the correct outer packaging is used.Everything was fresh with long expiry dates, and the packaging was recyclable, with a nice printed logo suitable as a gift.The price has gone up to 2.99 and then now 3.99 though and at that price, it's definitely trending towards bad value.Can't complain about the product, but check for value before ordering.

This sweets box took me right back to my childhood! It’s filled with classic treats like Rainbow Drops and Refreshers, making it a great gift or a fun indulgence. The variety is fantastic, and it’s perfect for a party or just to enjoy on your own. Amazing value for the price! 🍬🎁

Good but just a taster

This is an ideal little box for a gift. It comes in a lovely little cardboard box which would fit through the letterbox. The box has a colourful sticker and the 6 items within are equally as colourful and a nice selection of retro sweeties which will out a smile on the recipients face. At the time of ordering, it was £1.99 which was a great price for what you get, that price has increased and is now £3.99. Although that still seems an okay price, it’s not the bargain it was and I certainly wouldn’t want the price increasing anymore. But for what you get and the original price it’s definitely a 5 star product for any sweetie lover!!

Blast from the past and I can confirm each and every one of them certainly felt like they tasted as they did back in my youth which was fun, while it lasted.Each item is pretty small, but tasty, particularly liked the popping candy, it really did pop a lot for some and was pretty nice.My only complaint is how much you get of each, I remember the day when the sherbert was packed but this really had only a few dippings in each, that was quite disappointing but still, I enjoyed them all.

I'm pretty impressed with this box of retro sweets. It's not that the contents are amazing, or that it's stuffed full, it's more that this is an easy and simple gift for someone with a sweet tooth at a cracking price!Yes, you could possibly buy the items for less in the shop if you're just after the sweets yourself, but that's not always an option for some people, or they may be looking for these to gift directly instead. To get these sweets in a little box that looks gift-ready, and with the option of having it delivered to your recipient for you if needed, then this is super value. If you tried buying these yourself and then the box & postage on top, I'm certain it would end up costing more.So even though it's quite a simple little gift (6 items), they're a nice combination of sweets and the value is fantastic, so I don't think this is deserving of anything less than five stars at its current price. If this was to go up too much, that may be a different story, but as it is now, it's great.

This letter box sized box of sweets has all my classic favourites in it:- lemon refresher bar- strawberry refresher bar- decent sized bag of white Jazzles (I'm sure we used to call these Jazzies?)- cola flavoured popping candy- rainbow drops- triple dip Love Hearts dipperWith regards to best before dates, the shortest item had 7 months before expiry, most had about a year, and 1 item had 2 years, so little chance of going out of date before they get eaten.All of this for only £1.99 (at the time of this review) makes it good value and a superb surprise gift to send your friends.----------------------------This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program.
