refreshing , very sweet
Unfortunately one of the tins was busted and the juice leaked out into the box on top of several other items, all of which had to be washed. Sadly we were unable to eat the pineapple in that tin, the pineapples were bad and tin was significantly discoloured inside.

The good thing about these pineapple slices is that it has a lot less sugar in there than I anticipated. So it fits my diet very well. The taste is not that great though. I would not buy this every week but once a month is okay.

Good for the bottom of a cake.
Tinned fruit ain't what it used to be. I remember tinned fruit being sweet and juicy when I was a kid (long time ago, admittedly). Nowadays it's crunchier and nowhere near as sweet. The reduction in sugar is probably a good thing though. These were ok. I mostly use tinned pineapple rings for the bottom/top of an upside down cake, and for that they are perfect, and once cooked become more enjoyably edible.
