Great led lights which connect to Alexa which haven't quite had chance to figure out yet, but beautifully presented and great quality led lights, came with proper transformer too!!☺️

I am very VERY happy bkz no need extra app or rubbish remote that breaks after 1 year. Works out-of-the-box. Only the issue is that is 10 meters long. No one notice but this is only the strip on the market with separate LED's - separate White and separate RGB. The result is that the white is real genuine White - bkz the sorce is not RGB - see picture 1. On picture 2 is real Warm WhitePicture1 - Alexa Set Light White,Picture2 - Alexa Set Light Warm WhiteHighly recommended by me to all customers

As for the LED strip, it’s great. Works as expected, great colour options - really uplifts the room. However! The adhesive strip is very poor, making installation difficult (I used superglue) and that has resulted the reduced star rating

If you go for a very low brightness or 100% it's fine. But in between you'll get noticeable flickering.At some points you can only cut it at 12cm gaps, and you have to keep the lights in a straight line, so customisation is not that flexible.Not bad for the price, but not great either.

One thing I like about Amazon Basics products is the no frills packaging and product which just work and this is no exception. The light strip is nowhere near as costly as some brands on the market and whilst it may not have the polished finish of some it performs admirably and works straight out of the box with little set up and no fuss.Because of the way the LED's are positioned along the strip I don't think it's as aesthetically pleasing as more expensive brands but if you use it as lighting under cabinets or behind monitors for example then it's perfect and performs just as well.It comes with adhesive strips to allow you to stick the strip where ever you want to place it and setting it up with Alexa is really easy and it works well giving you countless lighting effects which can also be synched to your music of movies. Highly recommended.

I am in the process of RGBfying my entire living room area. This LED strip came in very handy. It was very easy to install under the sofa frame. I then connected it to my Alexa and now can control it easily as part of the RGB group I set up on the app.It is sturdy, was easy to install, and came at a good value :) All in all, exactly what I wanted.

I have long used LED lighting that links with Alexa, so seeing Amazon starting to offer lighting under the Amazon Basics branding, I thought it time to try how it compares to the more recognised brands (and the 'unbranded' brands).The first thing to note is that this set works out of the box with the Alexa app - no need for yet another app to control devices. This does have a small downside - this set cannot be used with other voice assistants. Adding the lights was the simplest thing I have even seen and just required following the prompts in the app. It took a couple of minutes with no need to type my Wi-Fi password either. Amazon really have nailed the setup experience here.The strip itself is really nothing special but it does what it sets out to do. The distance between the LEDs means that you need to project the light from behind something otherwise you will see the individual LEDs as bright spots. This includes typical diffusers as these do not diffuse enough to spread the light output enough (this is similar to most other strip lights I have used too). There are plenty of options in the Alexa app for setting the colour and light intensity, meaning getting the right colour for the occasion is simple. This strip light is no different to the third-party apps that other strips use in this respect.Overall, I am impressed with this strip light set. It was the easiest to setup that I have ever used and I was able to get the strip up and working in no time at all.

The media could not be loaded. This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.In terms of build-quality, this particular light strip is thicker than similar models out there, which gives reassurance about how durable it might be. Though both parts of the cable attach together securely, I did find the connector to be difficult to click in place - the design is slightly flawed, because a small part of the connector sticks out on one side, and cannot be pushed into the slot on the other half of the connector, without using some force (it actually took me a few tries to get it to lock in). I would recommend checking the connection carefully, since a loose one could be dangerous.Other than that, it is very easy to pair and set up with the Alexa app. I did notice a slight delay with the device being added to my home's 'list', but this took no longer than a couple of minutes. There are plenty of colours and light effects to choose from, all of which are bright and vibrant.As of yet, I haven't decided where to install it, but I am definitely looking forward to using it.Overall, a good value item.
