If you're a hobby worm farmer, this sifter is a fantastic purchase! It's noisy & the springs were a challenge at first (just use a pair of pliers to avoid pinched fingers), but those are the only cons. I can add my soil to be sifted, turn it on, and go do something else while the machine does the sifting.

Ya this is super useful for me, I use it to filter potassium nitrate that I ball mill and 150 mesh is PERFECT for potassium/sugar l/parafin wax smoke devices. I'll throw 5 20mm chrome steel balls it it to help vibrate the powder through since I don't got one of those cool machines that I believe possibly vibrate or something the, normally flour I guess?, through. I left it out one night it was raining and not a spec of corrosion l, so, I believe it's food grade. Hehe. And the screen I can't detect any stretching bouncing 20mm steel balls around on it so, that's good. Seems sturdy enough.

When I ordered this sieve, I wasn’t expecting it to be as big as it is. The size really surprised me in a good way because it makes working with larger batches so much easier. It’s definitely more heavy-duty than I thought it would be. The metal feels thick and durable, not flimsy or cheap like some others I’ve tried in the past. The mesh is tight and even, and it handles fine materials without any problem.I’ve used it a few times already and it’s held up really well. Super easy to clean and feels like it’ll last a long time. I’d honestly give it a 4.5 out of 5 if that were possible because it’s almost perfect. Since that’s not an option I’ll rate it a 5 but to be fair I’d say it’s more like a strong 4 out of 5 overall. Still definitely worth buying and I’m happy with it.

Bought this to go with my Vevor sifter. Good size for flour. Can use it by hand or in the sifter.

Hard to use! Replace the springs if you can. Springs have absolutely nothing to help you grab them. you'll have to work hard with your finger tips. Also, you cannot stack two filters, the springs aren't long enough

Larger than expected. But works amazing!

The machine is well designed with the exception of the 3 springs that hold the lid and both sieves in place. It’s both dangerous and prone to popping off and bending the hook. I mounted three aluminum window clips which are secured with machine screws. The extension and smaller diameter solves both problems.

This works well for sifting dry materials, though you should be aware it can only use one screen at a time. I wish it came with more mesh options- found some affordable generic ones that are the right diameter, but half-height. They fit, but I wish more mesh combinations were available, and the vevor ones are sturdier. Ultimately I found it easiest to layer some silkscreen mesh over the widest steel mesh. Makes cleanup easier, tooUltimately I only use this for about four hours a year, usually in a barn when the temperature outside is below 15F. It performs beautifully every time, and I expect having it for a long time to come. I also store it in the barn and it has shown no sign of rust or deterioration despite harsh climate and humidity extremes.I preprocess my material with a cheap food processor and add 4-6 hollow stainless steel balls to my material to aid in sifting.Oh, one modification- I tied 3-inch long pieces of paracord to the loops on the springs and it makes them much easier to slide on and off.Four stars only because the screen options are limited. Five star results.
