Great set with a great price

I have ordered almost all Calphalon pans in my 50 years of cooking and have always been pleased with their quality. I am disappointed though that the handles get too hot to grab onto while cooking, something that never happened on my previous Calphalon pans. I now see that others mentioned this in their reviews also . So far it is non-stick, but we'll see how they hold up in a year from now.

These saucepans are lovely. Unlike other non-stick non PFA pans I've bought, they are truly non stick. Fried some eggs and they slipped out of the pan with no sticking. Non need to put in dishwasher as with one wipe they are clean. I'm very happy with these pans!

Excellent pans, the nonstick works perfectly, and the sizes are perfect. Cleaning is a breeze.

I've used calphilon cookwear before and was always very impressed by the quality and feel. Unfortunately, these don't come close. They feel lightweight and cheap. The handles are metal and get hot very quickly. The sizes seem smaller in general. The largest pot is wide and not as deep as I would like. When cooking for a family, you need more large pots and pans, and these all seem undersized. So far (after a month) the nonstick coating is holding up. Food cooks evenly. Those are the pros... The thing that I can't stand about these and so many other cookwares these days is the pour spout on the side of the pots. I want a good, tight fitting lid for cooking things like rice. The pour spout means steam escapes and you need to adjust the liquids accordingly. Very annoying! wish they would do away with that feature! Bottom line - I would NOT buy this set again. It's not bad enough to return it, but not good enough to recommend to others.

We owned a Calphalon set before. It lasted 8+ years. There are some pans still as the first day but we wanted to renew our cookware set and we did not doubt in getting another one from Calphalon because they are so great, so durable, non-stick and amazing quality. This brand always succeed our expectations. Strongly recommended!
