DEWALT 20V MAX XR 1/4 Inch Cordless Impact Driver, Bare Tool Only (DCF860B)

The media could not be loaded. I got this DeWalt DCF860 20v XR Impact Driver, because I have the 60V DCS578X1 kit (saw, battery & charger) which is the most powerful sidewinder circular saw available- cordless or corded!And yes, this DCF860 20V XR Impact Driver works with the $200 60V battery that came in that kit.This impact driver has gobs of power for tough driving and enough finess for driving self tapping screws without them stripping out. The 9 led lights are super bright and can be set to stay very long too. The build of the driver is superb- it's stout, yet the driver is quite compact.I've gotten so enamored with these DeWalt 60V tools that I just turned around and bought the 60V DCG418 Angle Grinder. These are absolutely the best power tools I have ever owned!

As a huge dewalt fan for the last 27 years, I love this impact driver and use it for everything from finish carpentry, rough framing, to building pole buildings. I normally use the number 3 setting and love the flashlight leds that have a 20 minute option to stay on. Variable speed makes control of this impact very important for us carpenters who don't want to over drive fasteners.The only down side I've found is when installing 2 and 3 ply LVL screws. It puts them in all the way, but has a hard time seating them flush with the LVL. I suspect this is because of the hardness of the material, but on every other material, I can counter sink and 8" lag with no issues.I pair all my tools with the new 8amp battery, and have even switched over to all 8amp batteries due to their superiority to the other Dewalt batteries. I can go all day framing pole buildings, and never run out of battery.

Best impact gun I've ever had from DeWalt. It feels solid. It has power and it definitely has light on it which to me is really big. When you're in tight places absolutely would buy it again

The best of the best and it came in a factory sealed Dewalt box. Toolup is the real deal and IS an authorized reseller of Dewalt products listed on Dewalt's website. I saved $80 compared to the price at every store I looked at, including Toolup's actual website.This DCF860 is a beast!!! Consider that lug nuts need about 100 ft pounds of torque and this little drill maxes out at 250 ft pounds! My old Dewalt impact drivers could never be used for lug nuts. They were not even close to powerful enough. This thing is a night and day difference. Of course a standard impact wrench is much better for lugs, but the fact that this can be used is amazing.NONE of the Dewalt drills "on sale" at the local box stores are anything close to this drill. If you want this from a box store it is $200 with no discounts offered. I found this after buying a different Dewalt atomic brushless impact driver from home depot on sale for $99 with the bag and battery. I got home and did a little research and found out how inferior it is to this one. I got this for an extra $20 and took the other back with a huge smile on my face. I already have bags and batteries.

this is a tank, less shaft wobble than the Micro impacts, new LED lights are superior then the other models , and still not bulky .

Like most DeWalt cordless tools I've used, this seems well-built and does a great job driving screws, even into hardwoods. Having never used an impact driver before, at first, I thought the noise I noted when driving longer screws must mean the torque was too low, but that's just how an impact driver works. So if you haven't experienced one before, don't worry, it's working as it is supposed to.
