Make sure to put something under it so you can shread without it sliding around
It cleans up well, shreaded the chicken, when cut up into strips, and it was fast!I would like it better if it stuck to the counter better.

I like this item because it makes shredding chicken so easy and quick and I love the clear top so you can see when the chicken is completely shredded

What a disappointment!
I wanted to shred chicken fairly well... better than pulling apart with forks. Perhaps I expected too much. After the first & second try all I had were strings and clumps. I tried to realign the chicken on the surface of the base to do a cross hatch, like a paper shredder. I hoped that would chop up all the strings. No luck. I had to use a knife to get the texture I wanted. I hope I can get a refund.If you know of a better shredder, please reply to this review. Thanks.

Love this thing!
I've only used it for pulled pork so far, but it shredded it perfectly. It's also really easy to clean and use. It seems like it will hold up well.
