I needed a J2534 pass through device that would work with GM's programming software. Most options out there are pretty pricey a $1000 or more. I was so happy to find this device, I searched for awhile to find an affordable option. It was simple to set up on my laptop and simple to use. At $300 it is truly a bargain, you get the same functionality as other units that cost 3 times more. I used it for the first time to program a 2007 GMC Yukon, it worked flawlessly. What gave me the most trouble was GM's software, from my experience and what I read about others experiences it is not the best to use. Overall this unit is a great value, it's easy to setup and use. It can be used with a variety of OEM softwares. The price is very affordable. The quality of the unit itself is really good and it comes with a nice storage case. I would definitely recommend.

Recently purchased TopDon's RLink J2534 passthrough from TopDon's Amazon store (link provided by TopDon.com as an official online source). I have purchased from this Amazon TopDon store in that past, and can confirm it is an official TopDon store. My Rlink J2534 (and other products) was automatically registered with TopDon as one of my products.I reviewed several different J2534 passthrough devices, and found TopDon's to be the best choice. My main use will be to use it on GM vehicles, and the RLink J2534 works without issues with GM's GDS2, SPS2, and Tech2Win software. In addition, TopDon's U.S. based live human technical phone support is the best compared to other automotive diagnostic tool brands.The USB cable that is supplied with the Rlink J2534 is high quality and high speed. This is critical for programming and coding using a J2534.I highly recommend TopDon's Rlink J2534.

I purchased the rlink adapter to do programming. I've used it several times and it's been flawless. This adapter comes in a nice carry case with foam liner. It's a great tool, and at a great price! Highly recommend this for module programming.

This is a great J2534 programming pass thru. Easy to set up and worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

They dont tell you to buy a separate computer. Found that in one of their training videos on Y.t. well that would have been nice to know before I installed on my personal laptop that I use on the web. the install hardware is less than professional lots of guessing to figure it out. Would return the item but I have registered it so don know if it can or not. Would not buy again

Great pass-thru device! Be sure you know what this tool is. It is not a stand alone scan tool and software. This is an interface that can be used with OE software. You will have to purchase or subscribe to each manufacturer's software that you want to use. Worked well with Toyota GTS+, GM Techline Connect, and Honda HDS. Did not work with the dealer version of Witech for Chrysler, kinda bummed about that but worked great for others. I messed around a long time to try and get Witech working but the dealer version of the software wants a true witeth pod only. It does work with the aftermarket Witech software for independent shops though.
