perfect on pit boss!
long enough , and plugs right in to the display of my pittboss smoker. works perfect … very happy with the added feature it gives me to know the status of the meat without having to open the lid. smoker should have come with one from the factory , but this is a cheap easy way to get full features from it .. totally satisfied ! I will not speak on accuracy as this is only part of the system , so your mileage may vary. on mine however, it was accurate and matched my external digital meat thermometer readings.

Works with Pitts & Spitts
Works with Pitts & Spitts Maverick PDU. Now even though I'm stuck with a glorified (& EXPENSIVE) convention cooker (the thing doesn't produce smoke except when heating up or increasing the temperature), at least I have a thermometer after getting the one that came with it chewed up in the auger (storing the thermometer in the pellet box is not a good idea). Pitts & Spitts wants FIFTY DOLLARS for their replacement. Money, money, money... is that what it's all about? Thanks Stanbroil! If you ever start making pellet smokers would love to do a trade in!

Accurate Flame Boss replacement probe
The temperature probe that came with my Flame Boss 100 controller stopped providing consistent and erratic temperatures. Searching for a replacement I ordered this Stanbroil probe and it is working perfectly as a replacement. Picture I uploaded is of this temperature probe in a glass of water along side another probe thermometer that I know is accurate. While this replacement does not have the same quality feel of construction of the probe that came with my Flame Boss it is a good replacement as it is accurate and is an excellent value for the price.

Works great on the portable pit boss
Great to be able to plug in all through the way the smoking process, and be able to have internal temperature. Perfect steaks and salmon so far.

This probe is quality like the ones that come with the pellet grills from the factory. Others are not.

Does NOT work with Char-Griller.
It looked right and it sounded right, but it doesn't work right with my char-griller akorn grill.
