Received EU version
I don't see it in the description anywhere, but the product is EU version. I am replacing a different TP-Link Archer T9E that shorted out when I was reconfiguring the layout of the components inside the case; I accidentally had 'Wake on LAN' set and when I plugged the card in the system fired up and the card shorted...whoops. That card performed really well, so I thought I would get another. This new card was terrible right from the get-go. I uninstalled previous TP-Link drivers, downloaded new drivers (even though they don't appear to have been updated in 2 years so probably the same driver), and connected to network. 2.4 band will only connect at 215.5 full signal. 5 band will only connect at 58!!! If I set the control channel of the 5 band to anything in the 100's (149, 153, 157, etc.) then the 5GHz band disappears altogether and the card will only connect to the 2.4GHz network (if you have dual-band access point). This was not the case with my US version Archer T9E. I have a T6E and even a WDN4800 running in other machines that are faster than this EU version T9E.tldr: EU version bad, returning.

Crashes Windows 10 - returning product
This wifi card freezes / crashes windows 10. Product came with an installation CD that is completely in chinese, which is useless to me. After installing drivers from TP-Link website, my Windows 10 system would repeatedly freeze & blue screen crash. Removed card & drivers and system is stable again. Returning this product as it doesn't work for me.

Works great, Good speeds!
Works great. Reliable connection and high speeds. Running standard Windows 10 and no issues with installing the drivers. Loaded them on a flash drive from another machine. Copied them over, installed, and I was up and running.

Doesn’t have good reach
Forget about your 5ghz band if you’re not close to the router, it won’t pick it up. Even the 2.4ghz band connection goes in n out

Great Speed for the Price. You Get What You Pay For.
I was doing a basic build for a friend that needed a wireless card because he didn't feel like running the wire. I originally ordered Fenvi FV8303 PCI-E wireless card because it had decent reviews and it was cheap, but not too cheap. I didn't need anything fancy because the router was only about 25-30 feet away.We hooked the computer up, and it was getting awful readings on the speed test. Between 6 and 13 Mbps on a 100 Mbps plan. They were planning on upgrading their router and plan to gigabit soon, so I figured the new equipment may help. NOPE. Still maxing out at 13 Mbps. After doing a little research, I decided to try this card (TP Link Archer T4E) for a few dollars more and see if it made a difference. First reading - 187 Mbps download, 222 Mbps upload. What a difference!I don't expect to get anywhere near gigabit speeds on a wireless card, so this was more than expected. Don't cheap out on wireless cards. This was only a few dollars more, and the different is literally ten fold, or more like 15 fold.Don't cheap out on a wireless card. You get what you pay for.

5G Wont Connect
I've got an Orbi wifi mesh in my house and I'm less than 6 feet away from the satalite with no 5G registering. I've tried reinstalling drivers, reinstalling windows, using the "Utility" program, which isnt even supported in Win10 without compatibility mode and I still only get the 2.4ghz network. All other 5Ghz devices in the house work just fine. If I choose in the advanced options to prefer 5Ghz it will still only connect 2.4. If I choose to disable the 2.4 band it wont connect to anything.I wish I could return this product.

Strong performance and YES it does work in WINDOWS 10 ... please read the review for more info
This review is specific to the T6E Archer AC1300 model...Comes well packaged and looks really good in black especially if you have a side window on your case, Speeds are phenomenal and this would be perfect if you want to do HD Gaming, Streaming or Video conferencing assuming you have the Router and Broadband connection to match. I bought this for a new computer build and it is true to say like many have mentioned that Windows 10 DOES NOT recognise this out of the box. The first time you turn the machine on (or if you're upgrading an older machine) you will need to download the latest driver from the TP-Link Website. As soon as you download and install the driver windows recognises the wi-fi card and available networks should start to show up, you may require a system restart. If you can't plug your PC into the router directly via Ethernet (so you can download the driver) then i advise you download the driver to a USB stick prior to installing this card in your machine. The driver can be found at the TP-Link site, simply type into any web browser your model number and it should take you there. The Driver you require is called "Archer T6E_V1_151105". Sadly when i first tried to post this review i was sent an email stating i was not allowed to post a direct link to the driver.VERDICT: It looks great and performs even better, it makes no noise as it doesn't have any moving parts, nor is there any coil whine from the circuitry. If you are installing this into a Windows 10 machine AFTER MAY 2018 then you will need to install the driver i mention above and the device should work fine. I suspect many people buying this product didn't know about the driver requirement and have therefore returned them. TP-Link should make this clearer in their sales literature to avoid confusion and frustration but all it needs is the driver and it should work fine as it did in my case. I'm therefore going to RECOMMEND this product ... just be aware of the driver issue before you buy!

On windows 10 64bit, do not use manufacturers drivers.
If you want this to run properly on windows 10 64bit, do not use the manufacturers drivers. With manufacturers drivers, the card would "die slowly" when using all the bandwidth (for example, downloading a 60GB game on steam would stop at the 8GB mark and would only resume if I disabled and enabled WIFI back again). The Archer T9E is a BCM-4360 based card so I strongly advise people to use the Broadcomm BCM-43XX Wireless LAN driver 7.35.333.0 WHQL reference drivers instead (require manual install from Device Manager). Search for "broadcom_wlan_7.35.333.0" on google. These drivers solved all my issues and the card is now working like it should.TLDR: On Windows 10 64bit avoid manufacturers drivers, search "broadcom_wlan_7.35.333.0" on google and install these instead.Tell your friends about me :P

Inconsistent and disappointing. Don't waste your time or money!
Bought this product because i had previously bought another wifi card from another manufacturer that didnt work. Was hopeful that this one would be better. Was very easy to install, the driver auto installed, worked well for a day or two and then started to flag. The connection had 3 bars of wifi but was only recieving around 4mbps, then the next day it stopped working all together, it could find the wifi signal but couldnt connect. Tried everything to fix this (reset network settings, deleted the driver and reinstalled it, disabled and reenabled the driver, etc.) but nothing worked. Turned my computer off for a few hours and when i turned it back on it worked fine. Now a few days later it has started to play up again, again it is only getting 4mbps when every other device gets 16.5mbps. Would not recommend at all to anyone looking for a wifi card, moral of the story is you cant rely on anything other than ethernet.

Terrible performance compared to cheaper alternatives
I'm connected to Virgin Media 200Mbps fibre and use a Netgear Nighthawk high performance WiFi router. Up until now, I've been using a £12 USB WiFi adapter on my PC upstairs. The speeds have been rather good hitting 170-190Mbps in my speed tests. However, I was short on USB slots and decided on this PCI card card to free up some space.Firstly, the antennas supplied out of the box gave terrible coverage. I was getting approx 20Mbps on my connections which is a waste of the extra money I spend on the router and internet. I picked up some 3rd party omni directional antennas which connect to the PCI card via a cable and have moved them to multiple locations to test the coverage. The performance has been less than satisfactory with speeds between 50Mbps-70Mbps. Even my son's mediocre laptop with it's onboard WiFi is out performing this adaptor. It would have been cheaper to buy a USB hub...

The average rating is incredibly misleading.
I have recently relocated my home office out of the loft, with a wired connection, to the dining room, with no wired connection. Needing my PC to be connected to the internet and having a small child, I decided to purchase a wireless adaptor for my PC. (Note; I would sorely recommend just forking out that little bit extra for wifi enabled motherboard...).As I needed it quite quickly, I looked at the average reviews, and this ticked all the boxes. Didn't need anything overly fast, and TP-Link was a brand that I recognised, and that has served me well with previous products.Installation of the product was easy, straight in a spare PCIe slot, no troubles. Downloaded the most recent drivers direct from the website on another machine, installed onto my main machine and 1 bar of signal. Not a good sign. Moved the machine, still 1 bar. Checked two laptops in the same location, 4 bars.I did some googling, only to discover that if you search the model AC1200 you can find pages on the TP-link forums that advise to install a different driver, to the TP-Link recommended one. Alarm bells were ringing, how can another manufactors driver work better than the actual companies that is distributing its product under its name. Anyway, because I needed it to work, I downloaded the recommended driver (From 2016...) and it worked. Not ideal, but hey, it worked. That was two days ago. Booted up the machine this evening, and the card was showing me no wireless networks. Tried reseating the card, tried re-installing the drivers, and it worked for a while, and then I had to do it all over again.Frustrated, I looked at the actual reviews, and in about 2 minutes of looking I found two reviews recommending other drivers to install to make the card work, and still recomending the card, I don't understand. To me, when you buy a relatively simple card from a company like TP-Link you expect it work straight out the packet. You do not expect to have to install drivers from other companies such as ASUS to get the card to "work". This is a product still being sold, that a number of reviewers have connection issues on Windows 10, a product that claims to be Windows 10 compatible, yet it has not had an updated driver since 2019.Once I have submitted this review, it's going back in the box and I will be returning the product. Do not waste your time like I have.
