Happy!
All I can say is my feet are happy, my back isn’t aching and my hips aren’t screaming anymore when I walk my dog🐕 . The design is meant to mimic a natural foot placement on the ground. The fit is perfect, too. I get a little more mileage out of our daily walks, and that’s never a bad thing!I don’t know what I was thinking when I purchased other brands in the past. These aren’t my first Vapors. And they’re definitely not going to be my last!

Trail gloves are still my favorite!
This is my second pair of these shoes! They are so comfortable and great to wear walking around or even working out. The back of the shoe is a bit stiff so it did take a little bit of time to wear it in, but once I did they are amazing! I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for along time and I prefer trail gloves at this point. If this is your first foray into barefoot shoes take your time cause it does take some time getting use to it, once you do though, you will love these shoes.

Better than 6s!
4/5…. Not really sure why it’s not a 5/5 other than the fact that I was very partial to the version 5, and these ones just aren’t the same! However, they are way better than version 6.Very lightweight, large toe box, but not super narrow instep (I think version 6 was quite narrow!)I was able to run in them without even much of a break in period! My new primary running shoe

Not for me, not enough lateral support on the tread
I was looking for a zero drop barefoot style hiking shoe, that has some amount of water resistance, and these just didn't feel right.Fairly narrow footbed, but the problem was the tread on the bottom, it almost felt rounded so I worry my foot would just roll on any kind of uneven ground, zero lateral support. Also the rounded, wrap-around style tread seemed to reduce my ground feel in a really unnatural feeling way - I think because it wrapped up the side of the shoe it contributed to the feeling of not having enough space for my big toe specifically, and I have a pretty standard/narrow foot to begin with. Some other folks have mentioned the arch support as it relates to the barefoot style - that didn't bother me too much, it didn't feel that noticeable but I do tend towards high arches.Overall will be returning to look for something that has a better designed tread and foot splay support.

My 4th pair!
I love these shoes. Really comfortable. If you need padding, probably not a great choice. And I do find if I wear them on hard floors for too many days in a row, my heel bones get tender. Gotta switch them out every now and again.

Quality is lacking
I wore these on ONE hike and lost a ton of the tread… the quality of Merrell has seriously slipped!!!! So, so disappointed.

Comfortable and lightweight
Took a chance on a zero drop shoe that still had enough protection and arch support and this was one fit the bill. Great for people like me transitioning from regular shoes but not ready or wanting to go barefoot shoes. I have bilateral bunions that have been progressing and toe box is roomy enough that I can wear toe spacers and not cram my toes. And extremely comfortable that I can wear them for walks without socks. Also helped with my back and hip pain. Loved it so much i purchased another one in a different color. Ordered one in the usual size i normally order my other shoes and fit well.
