This set of travertine marble coasters would make a very nice housewarming gift. These coasters are very attractive and quite heavy. The included holder is also made of the same travertine. They are packed very well and arrived unbroken, but all of the fragile warnings indicate that if you dropped them they would likely break so keep that in mind.

This set is heavy and looks really nice on my kitchen table. Having the coordinating holder is very useful. The coasters have a nice thickness to them and are padded on the bottom. While this is a nice set, it is not as polished as some I have seen. It has a mored rugged look, not rough, though. So far they have worked well absorbing and drying out with no staining evident.

These are gorgeous coasters. Really beautiful quality and will last forever.

These coasters are very solid and have a good weight to them. The travertine is attractive and classy at the same time, and they have a cork bottom which prevents your drink from slipping. I like that they have a ridge around the outside to keep your drink stable and keep any extra liquids inside the coaster. They are not really absorbent though, which is something that's preferable for a coaster. I plan to use these on my back deck as the weight of them will prevent them from blowing away. I really like the holder that comes with them as well, and the coasters fit in it perfectly. Good set, I'm glad I got them!
