This A5 sized journal features an adorable pink dessert themed cover with a large magnetic closure that showcases a cat poking out of a strawberry pocky stick box. The front cover also features shiny gold embellishments which really add to the overall charm of the cover. I think this adorable notebook provides such a cute space that is perfect for journaling, jotting down notes, or simply just doodling.Pros: features an adorable kawaii dessert themed front cover; material of front cover is a soft PU leather; the large magnetic clasp, which works flawlessly, helps keep the journal securely closed when not in use; A5 sized journal makes it perfect for taking with you on the go; the notebook features a ribbon bookmark which helps keep track of your spot; the notebook also features an inside pocket which is perfect for storing smaller sized items; inside of notebook features colorful pages with different layouts and artwork designs which makes for a fun and personal creative space; price of notebook is more than reasonable in my opinion given the aesthetic appeal and quality of the notebook.Cons: the one thing I noted is that the notebook does not lay flat when opened up. I was concerned that if I attempted to make it lay completely flat I would damage the binding of the notebook in the process so did not do so.Despite the slight negative drawback of not laying flat open, I do think this is a unique and adorable notebook that inspires fun and creativity. I would definitely re-purchase and would recommend this product!

If you're like me and you love notebooks, you're going to be delightfully frustrated with this. Why? Because it is one of those things that is way too pretty to actually write in and you'll just stress out about actually writing anything down. I mean, it's gorgeous, every single page is beautiful and there's all kinds of designs and the cover is great... And I look at it pretty much every single day. And I say to myself that I'm going to start using it. And then I panic because it's so pretty I don't want to "ruin" it.So somehow I feel like I need to give it zero stars and five stars at the same time because I really love it and I really do want to use it. People who are into notebooks will know exactly what I mean when they read this review.

My wife's review:The Sweet Tasty themed journal from the Smart Tree store arrives packed in a cellophane bag.The A5 size journal has a soft faux leather cover decorated in cute Kawaii style drawings of sweets and pastries and there's a cute little tag charm included under the closure. The journal has 224 pages filled with more artwork, including a calendar, agenda, lined and dotted grid pages. There's a storage paper pocket in the back of the book, a satin ribbon book marker and a magnetized closure. The paper is a good weight, with plenty of spots to journal or add your own art.The description definitely leans toward a younger girl as the market for this book but I have to tell you both my adult daughter and I think it is adorable and I would definitely gift to anyone who loves Kawaii inspired items no matter they're age.Very cute and, for the amount of artwork included in this notebook (most have blank pages), it's really a very good value.

Great for Cats/sweet treat fans.This journal is great for writing down thoughts or creating fun spreads for journaling.Not great for Note taking for school or anything like that, but great for creative journalism.The layout of each page is different. all of them are not all lined, grid, dot or mixed.It's more cute designs with space to write down your thoughts and creative flow.

The design is super cute and the pocket is a nice touch for keeping notes and small treasures safe. The cover is sturdy and it should hold up well in her backpack!

The media could not be loaded. The notebook looks just like it does in the pictures and arrived in perfect condition. I really love the feeling of the material. It feels well-made. Honestly, this book is just too beautiful. I almost don’t want to write in it. I’d rather just use it as a decoration and leave it on a coffee table.The notebook closes with a magnetic strap. It also has a built-in ribbon that can be used as a bookmark. The very first page has a couple of lines for you to write your name. There are so many unique pages in this notebook. Each having an adorable design. There are calendar pages, agenda pages and more. The lined, grid and dot pages each have a section where they repeat for several pages.
