I’ll make it simple, this is a great board. If you’re looking for a new keyboard and you’re used to any ‘gaming’ boards … this EPOMAKER makes them look like toys. My experience with generic gaming boards started with a Razer Blackwiddow TE with Cherry MX Blues, then a couple boards from Corsair followed by a Ducky One 2 mini with Cherry MX Browns. In recent years I’ve dabbled in steel series but couldn’t get over how expensive plastic keyboards were. I’m a fan of a sleek looking minimalist design and don’t really care too much about the details of a keyboard, my concern has always been ‘is it good value for money?’ And ‘do I like how it looks?’ This EPOMAKER answers yes to both. I’ve included a few pictures of it on my desk but honestly it’s an incredibly clean aluminium keyboard and there’s not much else to it. I use it primarily for gaming and for those who care the switches are great, the board feels great to type on and the Wisteria Tactile switches with the foam in the board sound really nice. They’re a solid option compared to most others I’ve tested and I won’t be rushing to swap them out anytime soon. Keycaps could be a little better but honestly that’s a minor issue and easily fixed with a new set. I haven’t tried the wireless connection and I probably never will so I won’t speak on that. All in all, this board offers fantastic build quality and a solid starting point for someone looking to get into custom keyboards. Alternatively it’s a great option for someone looking for a value for money gaming board, trust me, nothing by Ducky, Razer, Steelseries or any of the other big names will come close in terms of build quality and value. This board feels like it will outlast me! Finally, the firmware isn’t at all necessary, you can use this keyboard without it just fine. If you want to make changes to keys and functions then you can use it for that, it’s all online and browser based and again feels very good to use … I can’t recommend this board enough.

What an amazing keyboard for the price. From the bullet proof build to the typing feel and sound this is one of the best keyboards for the price that i own. Wireless works flawlessly too.

I am really happy overall with the keyboard. It is a great typing experience, solid build for everything except the switches. I got the Zebra switches and one of them had popped open and broken already in transit. A second one popped and broke a week in. It seems like the clips are really weak and/or break easily. I was planning to try different switches moving forward anyway, but this is a bit ridiculous. Maybe I got a defective batch? UPDATE: Updating this review to give it 5 stars because Epomaker proactively got in touch after this review to offer me a full refund + a box of replacement switches. Truly amazing customer service, I did not expect this especially because all I did was leave a review and did not contact them directly. Makes me feel like they really care about customer satisfaction.

The keyboard feels nice and premium as you would expect at this price point. However, two of my switches have become defective during the 6 days of owning it which is unfortunate. It might be that I have received a bad unit though.

A very good keyboard for typing. The build quality of the enclosure is phenomenal, The wisteria tactile switches are excellent lightweight tactile switches. Coming from Cherry MX Clear switches (tactile), I like how the tactile bump of the Wisteria seems to extend throughout the entire keystroke such that you have bottomed out by the time you reach the end of the tactile bump. The slightly short 3.1mm travel distance and the quick springback of the switches makes my typing quicker. The acoustics of the keyboard are also an extremely pleasant, clean, loud clack. The volume knob turning action has a high quality feel to it where you can easily feel the steps on it. The software is just okay, and I wish that I could change the function of clicking the volume button to be a play/pause control, instead of just a mute button or a few other functions with the keyboard backlighting that I don't care about. I don't even use the keyboard backlighting because the included keycaps don't have transparent legends so it is basically completely non-functional. I am upgrading from a WASD TKL Code Keyboard v2 with Cherry MX Clear switches after almost 10 years, so the mechanical keyboard landscape has changed a lot for the better. Back then, you simply couldn't even buy a keyboard with this caliber of quality. The quality of the aluminum finish on this keyboard's enclosure is nipping at the heels of apple's anodized aluminum finishes. The sound of the keyboard is much more refined and has less extraneous noises caused by the hollower enclosures and the metal wire stabilizers of ye olden days. The pre-lubed switches also help this a lot. I was looking to buy a keyboard a few years ago back when it would have cost 4x more to get a keyboard that isn't even as good as this one. I'm glad I waited. If I were to change one thing about this keyboard, I would make the sound a bit lower pitched and a bit quieter. To my understanding these are both inherent qualities of a keyboard with a metal enclosure and with tactile switches that are more difficult to massage away with mods than on say, a keyboard with a plastic enclosure and linear switches.

Este teclado es una pasada, realmente. El diseño es precioso, con colores increíbles, y el sonido que produce al escribir es muy agradable. Cambiar las teclas es súper fácil, ya que viene con una herramienta específica para sacarlas, lo cual es ideal si quieres personalizarlo. Además, tiene la opción de conectarse de manera inalámbrica o por Bluetooth. Eso sí, el teclado pesa un poco, lo cual puede ser algo a tener en cuenta, pero en general me encanta y la experiencia de escritura es muy cómoda. Puedes usarlo con cable, inalámbrico o por Bluetooth, y la batería de 4000 mAh dura bastante, así que no tienes que estar preocupándote por cargarlo constantemente. En cuanto a la escritura, es una experiencia súper cómoda, tiene un tamaño compacto del 75%. A pesar de reducir algunas teclas, no pierdes las direccionales ni las funciones principales, y la perilla de metal para controlar el volumen es un detalle genial. En resumen este teclado es una maravilla, tiene una calidad muy buena.

the keyboard is a steal for the price and very fast delivery. came 3 days after order in perfect shape and condition. its sound id a combination of creamy thocky and poppy (wisteria linear swiotches) very good quality. would recommend getting a dust cover or covering it before going to sleep as dust and dirt are really noticable on the white version.
