I have a few of these polyester/spandex hooded shirts now, and this one definitely feels the most like cotton in terms of softness, weight, and comfort. It wouldn't be my go-to in the hottest weather, but it will be fine when it's hot, good when it's warm, and great when it's a bit cool out. In other words, perfect for where I live in Southern California, not far from where the parent of INTO THE AM lists an address on its website (the world today). I wear a Large in just about everything and the Large here fits me perfectly. There are no pockets, drawstrings on the hood, or any kind of branding, all of which suits me just fine. The hood is nice and secure when up without being restricting. Of the other two hooded ones I have, one hood won't stay up in a breeze. The other will because it's so big I can loop it over the brim of my hat. What I'm saying is that pretty much everything about how this fits is perfect for me. They list it as SPF 30+, which is great too. It's charcoal, definitely closer to dark gray than black, and looks great color wise. No stripes or anything. It's 7% spandex, so has a bit of stretch, but this one feels and looks more like a shirt you might wear out in a very casual situation, rather than one you'd devote to just working out. I love that. For active outings, you can look and feel great in this during a family hike, say, then look and feel great at lunch after in a family casual restaurant. I'm really happy I got this.

I absolutely love Into the AM as a brand and have used a ton of their clothing on a weekly basis for several years now, and this long sleeve shirt is just as good as the rest of their stuff. The shirt is lightweight, and fits me true to size perfectly. The material is soft and comfortable, and the hood works fine. I haven't worn it outdoors to comment on the UV blocking of the shirt but I'd have no reason to question it. Overall I love this brand, and that includes this shirt too.

At the base, the shirt is size appropriate and fits well. The material is thin, but extremely warm, probably due to how tight the knitting is on it. Honestly, I think it's made to be thin, but holds heat in super well.My only problem with it is that it's super clingy. I feel like even after a few washes, and even using fabric softener, the fabric wants to cling to eeeeverything. Heaven forbid I try to wear an undershirt with it. Once that thing starts to bunch up, I'm gonna notice nothing but that for the rest of the day, and then it's ruined.So my suggestion for this? Go a size up on it and wear it loose, unless you like it being a little snug of course.

This shirt/sweatshirt is very very thin. It almost has like a velvety feel to it. It is long so it does hang a little bit more than your traditional sweatshirt and it doesn’t cinch at the waist. It hasn’t shrunk despite several washes and dry cycles. Find it rather comfortable, especially since the fit isn’t tight at all.

I love these lightweight t-shirt type hoodies. Though this one does fit quite tight. So consider ordering a size up from your usual. Overall well constructed and feels nice to wear.
