Absolutely adore this model. I didn't expect the swept wings to actually be maneuverable, I figured they'd be stuck in the position set during assembly, but they move between positions easily.

The two-piece fuselage and cockpit well fit beautifully; however, the model requires ballast if you want the tricycle landing gear to have three-points of contact with a surface. The instructions for the placement of the ballast and the ballast's weight are missing from the first Academy Instruction Manual. The engines have a three-piece duct work for channeling the air intake. I had to omit two of the pieces to get a good fit of the engines. The other parts of the engines fit well. My canopy mask did not work as advertised. The tricycle landing gear was not designed well in my humble opinion. The gear had small parts that I had to omit. Without the ballast the front gear dangles in the air. The bombs were also a point of contention and difficulty. I could have avoided a lot of tedious work by building the model with the landing gear in the up-position and the bomb bays closed. However, all in all, I enjoyed building the model and I would recommend to other modelers. Although the model comes in three colors: black, gray, and clear, the instructions call for 12(?) paint colors. I used black paint and olive drab paint on the cockpit well. The variable-geometry exhaust nozzles were molded in black plastic, but the instructions called for steel (?) paint. I did not have steel paint readily available, so I used metallic silver. I have yet to apply the any of the small decals to the model. The instructions came in two manuals which had commendable detail.

Is A.H.M ofc it's good, all models by Academy are incredible. If something is wrong with yours, it's Amazon, not the brand.
