Is the material comfortable on your forehead?

Very comfortable on the skin and is not overly tight on an adult head.

Would this hat work if you have no hair? I’m going through chemo and my hair is falling out.

I am bald and have no issues wearing this hat. Definitely helps keep my head warm during winter months.

Will it fit 25.5" head (64.5-65 cm)?

Yes, but it may fit snug. It's suppose to fit up to 26.5.

Where would I find the cleaning directions?

The manufacturer does not provide any washing instructions on their Amazon page. But, they do say to contact them via email with any questions or concerns. I dug around a bit on their product page and found if I clicked their name under “Sold By” that a page pops up for questions to the seller. If the seller responds with cleaning instructions, perhaps you could post it in the Q&A for others to see?
