Great printer, you will have to take your time calibrating it though, I have tried multiple resins so far and most worked well at 3s exposure for standard layers. still experimenting with lift speeds and such. overall a very good printer. If I have to say a negative, the build quality on the z axis is a lot of plastic which reduces rigidity and allows flex. Important note: the carbon filter has a wrapped in plastic carbon inside of it so you will have to open it up and remove the plastic wrap for the filter to actually function. Elegoo failed to mention this in the manual so it is easy to miss.

This is not my first Elegoo printer. Had good experience with their customer service which encouraged me to go for the S4U. This guy is a game changer! The struggle of hobbyist resin printer is leveling and speed. Elegoo addressed both with innovations at relatively affordable cost. The leveling is a smart idea based on springs to ensure the bed is always parallel to the LCD, it's not really auto leveling but it's smart and it works! The moving bed allows smooth detaching and so the build plate does not have to go up and down. Result: almost 50% reduction in printing time. Another interesting feature is resin calibration that aloows to dial up to 8 exposures in one shot. Wifi connectivity, camera for monitoring the print and doing time lapse... So many features at once. If you hesitate between the ultra version and the regular, go for the ultra, the added value is way above the price difference. Saw some reviews saying the printer is used, Elegoo says in their manual that they do functional test on all their printers, so could be the reason of such reviews (mine has the plastic wrap somehow looking removed and put back, but the sealing of the screen, fep and build plate were untouched).

Fast and big printer can print many models at once. after proper leveling it is working very well so far I'm so happy with it. the price is very affordable

I gave it -1 star because of that when i bought it, there was no 16k version available here, so i had to order this one ( that doesnt have light for the camera and no heating build plate ) The other -1 star is because after 2 days of buying it, 20% discount came and i feel that i was scammed with the price because of that, i tried to solve this with customer support, but sadly nothing I wish it had a handle to lift the cover and i wish it had a different extra holder so you tilt the build plate so it drips the extra resin. Other than this the machine is great and works perfectly, fast and i trust it and i sleep while its printing, but consider getting screen protector just in case. Edit : Elegoo was very thoughtful and helpful with the issue is had, changed from 3 stars to 5 stars as they solved all my concerns

Bigger build plate and faster printing .

So when i bought the printer i had minor leak in the fep which caused the screen to break. However i reached out to elegoo and they placed a replacement for me, 5 star for the print quality as i printed 4 different figures before the accident and another 5 stars for their after sales experience.

Tiene una buena interfaz de usuario. Puntos negativos. 1. La plataforma de impresión tiene una forma que permite la acumulación de resina en medio, esto dificilta su limpieza. 2. La velocidad de impresión pudo ser mejor, quiza tomar el ACF de su predecesora, pero sigue utilizando NFEP y al no tener el sistema de retracción como el de la Ultra, resulta un poco lenta. Le doy 5 estrellas porque al precio que la obtuve no puedo pedir mas, y funciona adecuadamente. Además no le puedo pedir cosas que no estaban específicadas en primera instancia.

Easy setup, recently purchased an elegoo 4 plus and both have delivered in quality, ease of setup and noise level. I'm quite amazed how both are so quiet. I upgraded to this from an anycubic mono x and the fan noise is almost 0. Auto leveling is a massive game changer. So much time saved. 1 thing I wish printer manufacturers would do with when people buying machines is to at least include a bottle of resin, even a 250ml and 1 or 2 extra fep sheets. These are advertised as "low cost" but not really when they are base model, and only the machine. Overall, a good machine, nice size build plate, the options/tools are base line, nothing fancy. For the fancy, ie, internal calibration tools, u must upgrade to the ultra, which half the other features it also has I personally wouldn't use so not worth the extra cost, being in canada, that's 150 or more for very little in return.
