Great costume for any dinosaur lover! My 7-old-son requested it for his birthday and has enjoyed it immensely. He stuffed the tail to make it a little more firm and has used it for dramatic play as well as a Halloween costume. He prefers a more realistic look to the cartoon look and this met his approval. It has a non restrictive fit also, which makes it ideal for running around inside or outside jumping off of rocks. He is able to have good vision with the mask, but I do sometimes ask him to push it up on top of his head if the terrain has too many trees and rocks just to be extra cautious. He is an active boy and the costume has held up to repeated use.

Got it for my kid's Halloween costume this year. Just arrived yesterday. The costume fits true to size and is on par with a nicer costume that you would get in a Halloween store for three times the price. Buy it without hesitation because I don't think you can beat the value. It'll definitely withstand one night of trick-or-treating and probably a bunch of dress up sessions after that.You do have to provide the stuffing for the tail yourself, but that's not a big deal. The mask is pretty nice in quality too, and fit my above average sized six year old pretty well.

My 8 year old picked out this costume and overall he loved it, so 4 stars for making him happy! But, there are some significant cons that led to the 4/5 rating.PROS:—Lightweight breathable material, which is great for warmer climates. This was a pro for us.—Stretchy, soft fabric makes it comfy and easy to wear, and can be worn over other clothing.—Sizing was very accurate to description. My son is a tall 8 yr old and the Medium fit him perfectly.—The mask is great!! Just scary enough to satisfy a kid, without being TOO scary.CONS:—THE TAIL IS NOT STUFFED!! You have to stuff it yourself!! I had extra quilt batting in the garage that worked great, but this is really annoying if you don’t have extra stuffing sitting around (and who does?!)—Thin fabric makes it necessary to wear clothes underneath.—the back velcro does not stay closed. We had to use safety pins.—the elastic straps under the feet pieces broke off immediately. Safety pins again.—the costume did not look complete without dinosaur claws, which we had to buy separately.Overall this costume was kind of a hassle and it wasn’t the great value that I thought I was getting at first. BUT, my son loved it, and it did look great once we dealt with all the issues, so I still give it 4 stars. Just keep all these issues in mind when purchasing!
