I use it in my living room.

This was quick and easy to assemble for a picnic or camping. We got it for our family to play at camp and everyone had a lot of fun. The day we used it was mild so the set stayed up fine but might need to be better secured in higher winds.

Much smaller.. Not sturdy.

This is such a handy set to have - even for just use at home! Take it down and put it up easily so you don't have to commit yard space to a permanent net. Highly recommend. You might need weights in heavier winds though

Carrying case zipper broke the first time we tried to zip it up...This set is great for setting up a net in an open space like a park or garage. It took less than five minutes. During assembly, most of the poles come together like tent poles. During takedown, you simply pull and fold up the poles. The side poles do come in 4 additional pieces. The net slides right on, and there are hooks at two different heights for you to secure the net to the poles.I will note that I thought this was fully adjustable between the two specified heights, but that's not quite right. There are hooks at two designated heights - 33" and then the max height - for securing the net tautly. There are no hooks at tennis net height, despite the manual saying "tennis height." You can still slide the net up manually to any height in between, and it stays put, but there's no way to secure it. This works fine for our purpose of practicing tennis volleys.The net is sturdy enough for casual pickleball play. It sits okay on flat ground, but I'm not sure how well the net would fare somewhere like a beach.Lastly, this does pack up nicely in the provided bag, except our bag's zipper broke the first time we tried to zip everything up. Assuming it had zipped, It would be portable compared to a full-sized regulation net, but it's still pretty heavy. Fine for carrying from a parking lot to the park, but not something I'd want to walk to the park with for 20 minutes.

But sometimes a little imagination makes everything more fun, right? 😄Overall, this net set is great for keeping the kids (and adults) active without breaking a sweat on assembly. Just make sure to secure it well on windy days!
