I could not use this with the plate in no matter how I bent it. The plate caused extreme pain on my CMC joint (the joint where your thumb connects to your wrist). I have De Quervain’s and every time my wrist moved a little it hit against the plate. I took the plate out and it’s still a better brace than the one that only came just past my wrist. I’m hopeful this will make a difference.

This brace is very helpful if you have De Quervain's tenosynovitis. It is the only thing I found that actually helps. I wore it all the time for a few months - then transitioned to only when at home - then only when sleeping - and now I only use it sometimes at night (when I sense the support while sleeping is needed.) Highly Recommend.

Perfect support for thumb and wrist while still allowing keyboard use.

I have several of these braces for dequervains and this one felt scratchy and less quality materials than others in my collection as soon as I tried it on. Then my dog ended up chewing it up before I could really test it, so I can’t speak to wearing it for extended periods of time.

Does just what it says.

Brace is well constructed and gave me great support. My only slight complaint would be the Velcro fasteners are weak and have a tendency to come undone.
