Nice little light, but wish the cord was longer

If you’re a fan of indoor/outdoor gardening you’ll want to consider adding this light to your collection. I try to grow a variety of plants outdoors and them overwinter them inside through our Ohio winters. Even with windows it is hard to get some tropical plants enough light to survive our short winter days. This light gives you the power, flexibility and function to give your plants the light they need. First off, I really like the design of this light. The stand allows you to place the stem wherever makes most sense in your application. The two flexible heads then lets you out the light precisely where your plants need it. Finally, the integrate controller lets you give your plants precisely the intensity and duration of light that is appropriate, all with out too much fuss or the need to read an instruction manual. Great value and function for indoor gardening.

I've gotten a couple grow lights in the past, and they are setup so that they sit inside the pot - so the dirt is holding it up. I previously gave one of the dirt stabbers to a friend, and they almost broke up over it when the dirt did not hold up the heavy lamp causing it fall over along with shoveling a bit of dirt onto the carpet. Causing the couple to fight over who was going to clean up the mess.This on the other hand. No issues like that. It comes with a stand which lets you set-up on the outside of the pot. Light is amazing, and it is going to be a big help now that we are a couple months away from winter. No complaints, and imo priced fair.

We moved our stick plant inside a while ago. While it did OK in front of a window, it was starting to not look as healthy. I was looking for a simple solution that we could use that wouldn't involve hanging a large grow light from the ceiling. These dynamic due of lights worked out perfectly as we have it on a table next to the stick plant shining down on it. The base is sturdy as none of my cats have knocked it over yet. I adjusted the two lights so they shine on the plant at slightly different angles so that hopefully we get all of it.I like the built in timer options of 6, 8, 12 or 18 hours. It is easy to set as it is clearly marked on the controller along with buttons to adjust the brightness and power. The only issue I had, which is I needed to reset the timer when our power went out - which is typical for these types of lights. Overall both me and my stick plant are happy with these lights.

The timer feature, dual lights, brightness and goose necks are all great. The base is not as stable as it should be, I don’t feel that the height adjustment is secure and the way the foot prongs swivel makes me a bit nervous. I would want to put this up on a plant stand except I can’t trust it not to tip, so it’s limited to being on a desk or floor.

I have no cons to this light so far. It is a nice cool light and does not get hot on my shelf. I can aim both arms in different ways so that it aims at the left and right side of my shelf. I have glass shelfs and it is bright enough not even on high to make it through 2 layers so my low light snakes on the lower level still get a good amount of light while the higher light plants near it get a great amount of light. As we get into fall and winter it should help my plants continue to thrive through the winter months.It is nice and stable and sturdy. I love the usb plug lights as i use a usb strip to plug them into as well and allows me to consolidate cords.

A lot of times I struggle with clip on lights for my plants and so I tend to look for lights that have some type of standing base which is what I love so much about this one! I love the flat tripod base. It sits flat, but is very stable. The lights are flexible and easy to manipulate but do need to be fairly close to the plant. They put out a decent bit of light. Need to get a light meter so I can see what all of these grow lights are really doing. Really happy with the extra light for a couple of my sun loving plants!
