Quite simply, the difference between success and failure!
I must say I could not recommend these enough!I was having problems with my trainers only 4 weeks out from my first marathon (I've been running for years, but happened to be finally entering my first 26 miler after injuries etc.). My trainers (Asics Gel Nimbus 14 that I'd owned for a year at that point) were rubbing on the inside of the arches of my foot, due to a terribly placed seam and trim at that particular pressure point. It was a bizarre place to be causing blisters!I was recommended these patches as blister prevention at the same time as I bought new trainers (Adidas Adi-boost FYI - highly recommed over Asics in my experience!) and '1000 mile' socks. It is common advice not to change any footware when training for long distance events, never mind 4 weeks out from the start, having done most of my training already. However, I was finishing runs of 15+ miles with bare red skin and blood everywhere, so it just had to change if I was to finish the marathon. With already badly damaged feet, I placed the patches into the new trainers as instructed, and with the combination of shoe, sock, and blister pads working in tandem, I ran a 10k the day after a 15 mile training run that had shredded my feet, with no problems whatsoever, even with brand new trainers that would have been expected to cause their own problems until they were bedded in properly.I have since reviewed both other new products with 5* ratings as well, but I think the blister pads were the real heroes, having worn them in squash shoes since then, where they managed to prevent hot points developing in my toes from totally different foot/shoe movements.I highly recommend these; I'm convinced they will dramatically (if not totally!) reduce your blister issues, and I have already seen that amongst friends I've recommended them to as well. Just a superb product that I wish I'd owned for many years! You'll be pleased to know I ran the Bristol-Bath Marathon in October in 3:59:46...14 seconds under my 4 hour target, success!!

Be careful of the six pack - It's not 6x intro pack - THEY DIFFER IN SIZE - Not stated in description or picture
Firstly, the product itself is brilliant. I had to walk on a foot that already had a blister, these arrived before I knew I was going for a long walk, and the blister didn't bother me at all.I was so impressed with the single pack I purchased I wanted to put them into my other shoes and so purchased a "six pack". However, what you get is 4 of the same size of the single pack and two small ones. I only get blisters in one area and only the large pads are of use to me. I went back and reviewed the description to check I had not missed it, and the sizes aren't stated anywhere and even the photo is not what you get on the six pack (as the six pack packaging tells you immediately of the different sizes). So bottom line, I would still buy, but only purchase the single/intro pack rather than the six pack, as you're not getting a good deal, you're actually paying for items that aren't stated anywhere (and for me are useless).

They really work!
These have saved my inner arches! I am so surprised but so happy that I trusted the reviews. New trainers, and a few runs in I kept getting blisters on my inner arches. These patches have completely stopped this happening; I can feel the smooth movement of the sock against the patch. Worn twice for 6K runs so far and they have stayed completely in place and no blisters.I think they are expensive considering they have a 6 week suggested time frame, but I’ll be buying them again when needed.Very adhesive and comfortable. No bunching or peeling (but only used for 2 runs so far)

Already falling off
Very disappointed. As always i spent many hours filtering through reviews in various places and trying to weigh up the 5 star reviews against the lower stars. These came out at the top on several review sites so i decided to pay the premium price to try to protect the blisters that have recently sprung up on my heels, so i bought the 6 pack. I did not realise that 4 were large and 2 were too small to really be useful on the heels. The attached photo is the result of using the shoes to go to the same store on 2 consecutive days which my watches assure me is a round journey of 2.2 miles. Using my experience from this i would not recommend anybody to risk having the same outcome as i have. I guess the onlt attempt to resolve this would be to pour a tube of superglue behind them both and hope that sticks them, bearing in mind in trying to keep them flat while the glue dries, i may well end up in hospiyal trying to have my hands unbound from my shoes!I must say i would much rather suffer the excruciating pain from the blisters than the one caused from wasting so much money. Needless to say i certainly would not repeat this purchase at any future time.

They Work!
We went on a hiking trip to Scotland, and I was the least fit of the group. There are a couple of spots on my feet where I usually get blisters, and I was keen to try and limit injuries, so I looked for blogs about blister prevention one of which mentioned this specific brand. These patches do exactly what they promise. They allow your skin to slip slightly against the lining of your walking boots, so that your skin doesn't have to absorb the friction and separate, forming a blister. I couldn't believe that I was able to enjoy 9 days of blister-free walking, taking full advantage of spectacular sunny weather. Yes, they're pricey, but I recommend these patches 100%.
