This is a rechargeable coffee grinder, which comes with a coffee-dripper cup, some filter papers, and a small cleaning brush, all inside an unbranded cardboard box.My partner loves this! He adores his coffee and has various coffee prep routines depending on how busy he is. He usually likes to grind the coffee beans by hand, but obviously that’s quite time consuming and usually confined to a weekend, but this bit of kit gives him the closest result to hand-ground, and can run in the background as he’s getting ready for work in the morning.The grinder feels well-made and it is quite sturdy for the money. It comes with a USB-C charging cable, but no plug, and that means that it’s fully portable. There are 40 grind settings, which are easy to select, and obviously there isn’t much difference between two numbers that are close together, but you can tell the difference between say a 20 and a 25. It has ceramic conical burrs and they give a great, uniform grind, without changing the taste of the coffee. Charging time is around 3 hours, but mine came with some charge, and I like that as it has held onto that charge from the factory. The grinder is relatively quiet for what it is, and it is easy to clean. It doesn’t require a huge amount of storage space either.The one thing that isn’t so good for me is that it really does show up any finger-prints, and although they’re easy enough to clean off, if that’s the kind of thing that irritates you, this might not be the right grinder for you.At the time of writing this review, the cost is £24.99, and it’s worth every penny. CIRCLE JOY electric coffee bean grinder provides an effortless coffee bean grinding experience. It has a large range (0-40%) of accurate external dial adjustments, so that I can always grind my coffee bean to match my brewing style (i.e French press in my case). Unlike my old manual grinder, this is a USB rechargeable one that is equipped with a built-in 1800 mAh lithium ion battery. For each full charge (~3hrs), it can grind 15-20 cups of coffee. The grinded coffee is uniform and full of flavour thanks to its ceramic conical burr and relatively low grinding speed. This grinder can be easily dismantled into three components. Of them, the grinding chamber and transparent container are easily washable. On completion of grinding (~25g max), it will automatically stop. In addition, it comes with 50 coffee filters to start enjoying the self made coffee in case you don't have a coffee machine in hand. It is super convenient and suitable for a small family.

I've been using the Circle Joy Burr Coffee Grinder for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed. It's a great way to get fresh coffee grounds at home.I love that it has 40 precise grind settings. This allows me to get the perfect grind for my coffee. I also like that it's portable and rechargeable. This makes it easy to take with me camping or traveling.The ceramic conical burrs are great for producing a consistent grind. They also generate less heat, which helps to preserve the flavor of the coffee beans.The coffee grinder is easy to clean, and it's also very quiet. I've been really happy with my purchase, and I would definitely recommend this coffee grinder to anyone who's looking for a way to make their own coffee at home.

First the good news. This coffee grinder set contains almost everything you need to make a delicious V60 coffee for a bargain price. It comes with a burr grinder, V60 cone and filters. It also has a high capacity, being able to grind up to 30 g of coffee beans at a timeI used Illy coffee beans and measured 10 g into the coffee grinder, putting the grind setting to 15 at the mid-point of the draw-over range.It was very simple to use the grinder – just one press of the button to get it started. It continued grinding until all of the beans were ground and then stopped automatically. However, it took almost 2 minutes to grind 10 g of coffee.I added the grounds to the filter in the V60 cone and used my Vevok pour over kettle to pour 200 ml of water carefully over the grinds. Once the coffee had filtered through to my cup, I enjoyed a delicious cup of V60 coffee.This was a slow process but V60 is a fairly slow way of making a cup of coffee and not intended for those in a rush.At work, I only have a few minutes between cases in the operating theatre to grab a coffee so do not have time for a V60. Instead, I use an Aeropress which can make a cup of espresso-style coffee in about 1 minute from adding hot water to the coffee grinds.An Aeropress coffee maker uses a larger amount of coffee but does come with its own coffee scoop. I put 2 scoops of coffee beans (23 g) into the coffee grinder and set it to 6 to create a medium-fine grind. The grinder took 5 minutes and 43 seconds to grind the beans! I was able to use this time productively by doing some household chores whilst I waited as I was testing the grinder at home. At work, my coffee break would have finished before the Circle Joy grinder had finished grinding.Fortunately, I have a manual burr grinder that takes about 50 seconds to grind this amount of coffee. This will not be replaced by the electric grinder.In conclusion, as a kit for making delicious coffee slowly using V60 this system works well. However, it is disappointing that the grinder is so much slower than using a manual burr grinder, which is particularly evident when grinding larger amounts of coffee beans.

電動どころか手動もやったことないのですが、毎日活躍してもらってます。コーヒーは大好きですが、味よりもとにかく量が欲しい私には自宅で気軽に飲めるようになったのはありがたいです。スーパーで買う豆でも十分満足できるので、いいですね。難しいあれこれとか専門的な良し悪しはわからないですが、自分にはこのミルと安いコーヒーメーカーでも楽しめてます。

いつもはかなり荒めに挽いてハンドドリップしているので、今回は目盛り25（ハンドドリップの推奨値は10〜20）で挽いたのですが、とても細かい挽き目になってしまい、40（最大）まで上げても満足な荒さにはなりません。ちなみに20gのダークローストを目盛25で挽くと5分20秒かかります。ミルの精度については、挽いた粉の粒度分布を測定し、高品質で評判のハンドミル（タイムモアC2）と比較してみました。このグラインダーで最大目盛りの40と、C2の22クリックで挽いた豆を使いましたが、ちょっと意外な結果です（写真）。粒度の偏差はC2が上回っていますが、分布率ではこのグラインダーのほうが高いことになっています。C2よりも粒度のバラつきはあるものの、平均的な大きさの粒の数はC2よりも多いということで、総合するとC2とさほど変わりはないということだと思います。また、微粉（一般的に400μm以下の大きさの粉）については、グラフを見ると両方282.82μmのあたりにほんの少し山が確認できますが、なんとこちらはC2のほうが多いように見えます。C2は2年ちかく使い続けたものなので、その分は割り引いて考えなくてはなりませんが、このミルはかなり優秀ということになりますね。残念な点としては、やはり目盛りを最大にしてもかなり細かい挽き目になってしまうというところです。あとは、意図せず電源ボタンを押してしまうことや、グラインダー部を外してそのまま立てて置こうとすると転がってしまうぐらいでしょうか。ちなみに、ミル内に少し豆が残ってしまうことがあるので、一度挽き終わったら横から軽く叩いてもう一度電源を入れるといいです。

コーヒー用電動ミルは数あれど、この製品はお勧めです。理由はスローグラインダーだから。有名メーカーの製品でも、安価なものはどれも高速グラインダー。ガーっと甲高い音を発し、ものの数秒程度で粉状に仕立てる仕様ですがこの製品はホンモノ。セラミック製の臼式グラインダーを採用し、砕くのではなく、ちゃんと挽くのが最大の特長です。手挽き式と同じく、一杯分を挽くのに数十秒を要します。挽き目も細かく設定できて、まさに自分好みに仕立てられます。本体だけではなく、プラスチックドリッパーも、そして紙製フィルターも付属するので届いたら すぐに使えます。これ、キャンプなんかに使ってもサイコーな時を演出してくれると思います。もちろんコードレスで使えます。文句なし！ですよ。
