MUCH better than denture adhesive - VERY MUCH BETTER!!
I have to admit that it was in total frustration that I searched the web (again!) for a long-lasting way of keeping my lower denture in place. I have tried many of the ones that claimed to "last all day" but, in all cases, this was never the case - and I don't think that it was that I have a very strangely shaped mouth either!!!!So, with respect to this product, apart from a little "practise" needed when cutting the seal to completely fit the denture (in my case, I had to try twice but only on my very first attempt!), I can honestly say that it's a "completely different world" with these seals. The comfort has increased when biting (due to a cushining effect of the seal) and, with respect to it's lasting time, I can confirm that it has increase considerably - almost to the point that I would say that, after a 14 hour day, one is (almost) tempted to leave the denture in as it had NOT moved in any way.Maybe I have been lucky with this product but, in all seriousness, even though I'm not being paid for this review, for the very low price of this product, I would most definitely recommend that you try it.I don't think that you will be disappointed although, just remember, that the initial "shaping" of the seal could be a little tricky the first time around!!!Thanks for reading this review - keep safe!!!!

Better than just glue
Ok, so I read the reviews, noted good and bad and decided to buy these for my lower partial denture as none of the tube glue stuff ones worked. I have a difficult bite and my denture is not a standard shape.I read the instructions and proceeded to cut one to shape. Here in lies first problem. The paper is not easy to keep it in the denture to get a good fit to start with so the cutting bit was not easy. However, i made a second one just to be sure i had some sort of template but made it a bit bigger than the first one.The first one provided no comfort at all. The denture was just as painful so I took some glue and did my usual thing then put the paper back on. It lasted for a few hours until i had a drink lol.Today, I applied a layer of glue, then the paper, a bit bigger time, the more glue. Because i had made the template a big, I wet my now comfortable mouth with clean water then picked all the bits on paper off that were sticking out over my teeth! Felt so good and was ok, again for a few hours. I then ate a doughnut, as one does when out shopping! I wasnt left with the usual need to go rinse my mouth am home now and it's 4.5 hours since I put my denture in. The denture is getting loose but it is held in place. Not sure it will hold on all day, especially if i eat anything that I can't actually crush to death with my tongue and roof of my mouth. š¤£So my overall opinion based on my experience thus far is that these strips are helping me but clearly not a solution on their own for my problem.

They actually work... however
I hate getting old.... But unfortunately it comes to us all. Over the past few years my gums have shrunk and now I find that my dentures are rather lose. This has not really bothered me much until recently when I developed a sore bump in the corner of my lower denture. It only hurt when I ate anything but that was enough for me to look for a solution. I have used the "cream" type of fixative before which I didn't much like because it would taste revolting and you needed to keep adding more throughout the day. This was my first experience with Seabond seals with mixed results. The good news is once it's on your denture it lasts all day, you can eat normally and it does not move. However, Its much more fiddly to attach than the cream. You have to cut them to size first [once you have cut a suitable template I suggest you cut all the others to match] I was quite surprised at how much waste this produces. then you have to lay the seal in your denture and lightly wet it before putting it in your mouth. Once you bite down on it, it does not move. To remove it you just peal it away. I will admit I liked these so much besides being fiddly that I ordered another 4 packs. Give them a try, you may be surprised. Recommended.

At first I couldn't be happier.... numbness??
A shame. It held the denture (lower) in place and felt comfortable for a couple of hours - till the first meal - then it gave up, the surface was full with tiny scrumbles of food and when removing it from the denture it has long disgusting glue fibers hanging and stretching, it was like the monster in Alien when salivating. Still I would continue using but it caused a weird numbness on the lower part of my mouth, it was as if I had god dental anesthesic shots. I tried to check but it has no zink however it has some kind of copper-compoud - copper sensitity? I found nothing on the internet, if anyone had similar effect, please share the info. I struggle a lot to find a working and healthy enough solution for the denture. Thank you.

At last! Stayed in for almost 12hrs!!!
I have had issues with my lower partial dentures becoming loose, I have had a refit but still the lower won't stay in place, I tried fixodent professional, works well for my upper dentures but the bottom doesn't last long before it starts moving again. Out of frustration I googled cushion grip and all sorts popped up, saw the reviews on seasons and some were discouraging but all the same I went for it. Tried it for my night shift and I was so surprised it worked! It stayed for 12 solid hrs and I was able to eat and drink without any issues. To get the best result you need to follow the instructions to the latter. I start work 19.00hrs to 07.30am and my lower partial stayed and survived the night eating all sorts. I don't take hot drinks so maybe that worked in my favourš¤
