I really only needed a bit of extra cord length to allow my phone charger to reach from my nightstand to my bed, so I can turn the alarm off in the morning and hit the snooze with the least amount of movement lol. I thought this cord would be too short but it’s actually perfect length. Then when I first plugged it in, my magnetic phone charger stopped charging. I thought maybe it was the wrong cord or couldn’t carry enough power, but when I flipped the input plug upside down - it worked! WTH?!? I didn’t think it mattered which way USB-C plugs were connected, but apparently it does. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Welp, learn something new everyday huh? lol.. Other than that… IT WORKS and is able to carry the charge to my spiffy new Z-fold 7, and I don’t have to lean out of bed to hit the snooze anymore! Can’t ask for more than that. 😁 🏆

I have several different cables made by Cable Matters. And I've never had a problem with any of them. I'm not a fan of cables with fancy molded connectors, bright colors, or fabric-braided cords. Those things do nothing to improve the function of the product. Therefore, I appreciate the simple and straight-forward design that Cable Matters uses for their products.

I bought the savage raven fusion grips for the switch 2, which I love them. But they fit almost too snug in the original switch 2 dock. So I bought the SIWIQU for Nintendo Switch 2 Dock Station( one of the best 3rd party docks). But the fusion grips have a back cover that goes on. So the switch 2 does fit in the dock slot. So I took a chance and bought the Cable Matters 40Gbps USB 4 Extension Cable. It works amazing for the Nintendo Switch 2. A cheap easy work around for the problem I had. I would recommend this cable.

Works to connect my laptop with my hub. The cord is a little stiff, but it needs to be heavier than just a common USB for charging.

Sturdy cable, seems to be well made

The Cable Matters 201403-1m extension cable got me advertised speeds when paired with my CLIFF Electronics USB 3.2 gen 2x2 passthrough connector CP30211. The cable needs to be connected to the passthrough in a specific orientation to see the full speeds, but that connection is behind the patch panel and only needs to be made correctly one time. Very happy to have 20Gbps USB at the front of my ASUS Z690M-Plus D4 motherboard!

I was able to connect my 144HZ monitor to my MacBook and actually use it's full resolution. This is exactly what I was looking for. I combined this with a USB-C to display port hub and was able to use my monitor as 144HZ. I connected this to the hub so that I could hide the hub under my desk and it works perfectly

In terms of functionality, these do an excellent job. They fit perfectly and I haven’t experienced any of the connection failures and intermittent disconnections I had with previous USB-C extension cables. But these are quite rigid and inflexible. That’s bad news for the USB port, as they put undue pressure on the port. Perhaps a braided design may have improved flexibility.

I use this as an extension for my thunderbolt dock. It delivers power, hdmi, audio, keyboard ect at the same time with zero issues Mu forst cable matters product amd I have no issues

Cables seem sturdy and the connections solid. Length as described and no issues with data or power transfers to my laptop.

Meine bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Kabeln dieses Herstellers waren durchweg positiv - auch hier wieder. Ich nutze dieses Kabel um den fest montierten Anschluss meiner HP-Dockingstation zum Laptop hin zu verlängern. Die Stecker sind verhältnismäßig lang und leicht gummiert, lassen sich somit sehr gut greifen um sie in den Laptop ein- oder auszustecken. Auch die weibliche Seite sitzt sehr gut und fest auf dem Kabel der Dockingstation, ohne dass man angst haben muss, diese versehentlich zu trennen, wenn man an das Kabel kommt. Sehr solider Eindruck. Die Übertagung von Video (1440p@165hz), USB, sowie die Stromversorgung funktionieren einwandfrei. Grob gemessen, ist das Kabel ca. 6mm breit, aber dennoch unerwartet flexibel. Die länge betregt zumindest bei meinem Kabel von Anfang bis Ende, inkl. Stecker 1025mm.
