Very nice sets. Every animal is packed in an individual package with instructions. That makes them perfect for Goody bags.Also, they are all 3-in-1 sets, which means you can build 3 variants of every block set.Quality is okay for the price. Some small pieces are hard to connect but it's doable.

This set has 10 different animal kits. Each one of the kits includes instructions to make multiple designs...I included photos of the four different animals that you can make from one of the packets of blocks. I opened the one I thought was going to be an alligator for this review. As I was putting it together I thought to myself, "this looks more like a dinosaur than an alligator." As I put the feet on I realized that the instructions kept going, at this point I thought, "Oh there must be instructions to make two different animals from this packet of pieces." Then again the instructions kept going on. By the time I was finished with the first packet of blocks, I had built four different green animals!I haven't opened them all yet, so I don't know if there are 4 plans for each and every packet, but I can see through the bags that there are at least two designs in each. Some of the plans use all of the pieces in the bag, some have "left overs," so the creators of this particular set were most concerned with the ability to be creative with each pack than to make a design with the least number of blocks possible. I appreciate this fact and think it's an awesome idea to show kids that you can be endlessly creative with blocks like this.I ordered several Advent calendar sets of building blocks, this one was actually not an Advent calendar. It only has 10 packets of blocks, and all the packets are in a single box without dates etc. This would still work great if you have an Advent calendar you plan to fill with small objects, alternatively these would be great for stocking stuffers, party favors, small gifts, etc.The instructions are thorough. A younger child or someone with visual issues may not find the instructions super easy to read. They are thorough, include lots of plans, are full color, printed on glossy paper, but they are small. Not teeny, but small.Quality:These are not brand name blocks, but they will fit with them. The quality is notably lower than the most popular building blocks. As I mentioned, I ordered several building block Advent sets and this is one of the lower quality sets. I like it, but it ranks last of the 4 sets I ordered. Nonetheless, for $1 per included set, it is more than worth-it price-wise. They are not as nice and crisp as the brand name. I had trouble getting one of the eyes on in the set in my photos, but I did get it on, and that was the only one that was hard to get together. As I built the four different options from the alligator packet some of the pieces came apart in my hand. So, they go together, but because they are not as crisp as big name blocks, they don't always hold together as well.*I'd recommend this for older kids who enjoy building blocks. I actually thought that this set in particular would be a great end-of-semester gift to send to a college student who is busy writing papers and studying for finals. It's not a set of 24 days worth of Advent surprises, but it is a set of 10 different little gifts that could be fun for finals stress relief.5 stars for the surprisingly thorough and varied instructions!5 stars for the thoughtful inclusion of blocks to provide multiple options.4 stars for quality of the blocks.Ideal for kids 10+. I would not give these to younger kids because the fact that they sometimes fall apart as you put the next piece on is likely to be frustrating for younger kids.* This can be a good thing if you get frustrated by the difficulty of getting tiny pieces apart. I have had many a child ask me to get pieces apart for them, had to tell kids not to take them apart with their teeth, etc. These come apart easily enough that this will not be an issue. That makes it a possible plus.

I plan to put these in little Ziploc bags and bring them for my 6-y/o to work on when traveling, waiting at a restaurant/doctor's office, etc. My son isn't really into Legos, so I had to help him, but I found the instructions to be clear and easy to follow for the one package we opened so far. I love that you can build three different animals with one pack so they don't get bored. The deer that we built does break in half easily, so maybe some figures won't hold together that well for action figure playing. But overall, I'm very pleased with the concept and variety of this set. Also FYI, I checked, and they are compatible with regular Legos. I also plan to bring a folding snap tray thing to hopefully keep from losing any pieces while on the go.

I got these as part of our Halloween Give-Away bags and I was really happy and impressed with the quality. I wanted to make sure that they were easy to put together and that they would stay together, so I asked my son (adult) to make one for me. In a very short time he assembled the ostrich and gave the set his approval. There is a large variety of characters to choose from and each one is in a small bag with the directions included. The kids are going to be very happy and I'm excited for Halloween.

These are great party favors. I like that each package is individually wrapped and has instructions. Good value at 10 packs for $10. Will work great to hand out to trick or treaters this Halloween.

This is a nice size set of individual Legos type blocks, they are great for younger kids ( say like 6 ish) to older teens or adults. With the instruction card they are pretty easy to put together and they are great for small rewards like allowances or the tooth fairy or advent.

This set comes with 10 individually wrapped Lego animal kits. This would be perfect for party favors or school gifts. They are also perfect to toss in your purse for a time killer at a restaurant to stave off boredom. Cute, vibrant colors and easy to follow directions. Good for ages 5+

These little animal building blocks are great; and although they would be great as party favours, good behaviour rewards, or prizes, my son just couldn’t help himself and needed to build them all. There were actually very few duplicates in this box, but even the ones that were duplicates were welcome because each mini block set allows you to build and transform 3 different animals.All of that said, my 7 year old son had a great time building them all. He found that the instructions were easy to follow and the pieces went together easily. Taking them apart and rebuilding them into one of the other animals was also an easy task.These toys are unique and fun, and I think that they would be a perfect way to add a little something fun to birthday party loot bags or for Halloween.

I'm a big fan of building blocks, especially the brand name ones, and I like to give little sets as treats in loot bags or on special occasions. However, the brand name ones can get quite pricey so getting off-brand building blocks is often a better option. This 20-pack of TWERF animal building blocks will suit this purpose well as they're decently made and provide a nice variety of creatures to create.The set comes simply packaged in a cardboard box, and inside are two pairs of 10 different designs. Each building set is individually packaged and contains the instructions for building inside the package, making it very easy to add these to loot bags or hand them out as a gift.All the pieces are small so this is more suited to older children, or at least children with good finger strength and dexterity. It's not obvious right away, but the instructions include multiple builds. In the one I tried there was an "A" design, a "B" design, and a "C" design. The pieces feel almost the same as brand name building blocks and stuck together well. In fact, some were a bit too tight at times, especially when it came to taking one build apart to try the another.The instructions were fairly good - not the best I've ever seen but certainly not the worst and in the end I was able to assemble the two variations fairly quickly. The end designs are quite cute so they provide a nice little reward at the end of the build.If you're looking for some stocking or loot bag stuffers, or something small to give as an activity on a rainy day, then I’d recommend this TWERF animal building pack. Pricing is on par with sets of a similar size and, considering the relatively decent quality, makes these a worthwhile consideration.

This package of 20 animal building block sets is actually better than I anticipated! My kids have really enjoyed doing these with their friends. And what I love about them is that they actually have to use their brains to complete them. It gives them a little challenge, with a fun little reward at the end that they feel good about completing. Then they have the option of also making the same set in 2 other ways! The key is to tell them to keep the instruction pamphlet after they build it if they want to try building it in the other ways too, or to rebuild it if it falls apart.I did have to help the 7 year olds in some parts where they got confused following the directions. The directions are well done…for some kids it’s a lot of intricate steps to follow though, so they may need a hand. A couple of the attaching pieces fit a little too loose, so they come apart fairly easily, but overall the quality is good, especially for the price.The individual packaging makes it easy to use as loot bag fillers or stocking stuffers. I think they’re great and would recommend!
