I love it . Working great . I was looking for something that will let me use Akai MPK mini with unosynth or with Korg volca series ......but without PC laptop tablet or phone or any DAW ...Keep on funky

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, but a little expensive given the components.

I bought this to connect my Keith McMillan Keyboard with some of my portable synthesizers that come with DIN Midi when I travel. After connecting it to a USB power source (something not difficult to find in the third decade of the 21. century) it provides a USB host for the kboard (or whatever you need it for) and lets you connect it to a DIN Midi in. The enclosure is plastic, but leaves a sturdy impression. You could discuss the design style - not everybody might be in favour of grey plastic that looks like pc products from the eighties - but honestly I enjoy the freedom it provides me and make music in my hotelroom instead of gazing at an adapter.
