A Real Kid-Pleaser for Young Jedis
My 5-year old grandson is in the throes of Star Wars fever, and really really really wanted a lightsaber. I ordered one, and then thought "What fun is it to be the only one with a lightsaber?" So I bought him a second one so he could have lightsaber duels. It was a good Idea. He has had great playtime with his also 5-year-old cousin, and his 9-year-old brother. I recently received a photo of the 9-year-old gently playing a lightsaber duel with their 14-month-old sister, who held up her saber all by herself.Most of the reviewers seemed happy but a few reported broken sabers early on, so when the lightsabers were opened, I reminded the kids that in the movie, lightsabers are light beams and can't really be broken, but for children, lightsabers are plastic, and can be broken, so they can't actually smash them together. They seemed understanding of that, and here it is almost 5 months later, and the toys are still in good shape.I loved all the sound and light effects. and that the pieces are interchangeable between sabers.

Great item for your warrior kids
This is a great sword for your kids who like pretend play. I bought this for my grandson and he absolutely loves it! It lights up, and does make a sound when you push the button. It seems sturdy and durable, so it will survive your toughest kid.

Kid loves it
My 5 year old loves star wars rebels... thanks to her father, lol. She begged for a lightsaber to go with her ahsoka tano head gear. This is great. Lights up and makes noise.

Great quality. All the functions worked. Loved the color blue. Fun for kids of any age. Good Christmas present or any holiday. Lightweight. If you are looking for a cheaper version versus the lightsabers at Disney, you found it! Awesome price!

Good fun. But I’ve owned 6 of these as they break with decent wear and tear play.

Had to have to dark side too
My son actually received the green one of a birthday earlier in the year and LOVED it so of course for Christmas he wants the “dark side” red one too. The noises it makes while also lighting up makes this a pretty fun toy for an 8 year old
