I use this in my kitchen all the time. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about the weight limit but it definitely holds my 211 pounds with no difficulty. Very easy assembly. It's lightweight and easy to carry from one place to another to use anywhere as needed. You can't go wrong with this little stool and it will work well for any age!

I do not think this stool is actually bamboo, as the description indicates. I think it's something more like pressboard with a bamboo veneer. That said, it still looks just fine.The stool wasn't too hard to assemble, though an extra set of hands will speed things along. It comes with the included allen wrench and everything else you need for assembly. The instructions were so-so, but the assembly process is pretty obvious.I like that the stool is lightweight and can support an adult. I also like that it has a handle, which is a very nice addition to something like this that you'll be hauling around a lot. It has a very compact design and is easy to tuck away under something when not in use.Overall, it's a handy thing to have around the house.

The instructions were good, everything fit nicely, and it looks a lot nicer than the plastic step stools that we've used in the past. The bamboo is lightweight but strong.

I am pleasantly surprised by this step stool! It is mainly advertised for children and only upon a bit of research do you find it can support a grown adult. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and solid this step stool is and it was comfortable to use. The piece is a DIY assembly and the instructions are questionable but once I got started this was not difficult to put together. It was challenging to hold the pieces together properly, screw in the screws and keep it all straight but it can be done with one person and as you get more involved in the build it gets easier. It only took me about 30 minutes to assemble but it would definitely go faster and smoother with another set of hands. The set comes with the necessary allen wrench so it is easy to get started right out of the box! I was however, disappointed in the instructions. The pamphlet has glaring grammatical and spelling errors along with being printed backwards. The pictures are very small for reference on the actual build as they are the step by step instructions. Also provided in the box are anti- slip strips to adhere to the stool if desired. I put them on and they seem to hold well so far but I definitely think they should have been longer to better fit the width of the step properly. I found these to be too short to fit the step properly so I staggered them across the surface of the steps to try and gain the most coverage. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and I like the stool. It has a nice look to it and seems sturdy and comprised of quality materials. I feel safe using it and I am proud of myself for building it!

This step stool was very easy to put together. It is visually very attractive because it made of bamboo. The natural look really adds to the motif of our room which is a plus.One minor note is that since the stool is made of bamboo, the steps are thin and this may become an issue over time. I think this is better apt for children to use as opposed to a full-sized adult. I don't think this stool can withstand anything over 250 pounds given the materials used to make it.

The description said the step stool was made out of bamboo, but it appears to be pressboard wrapped in bamboo veneer. The veneer is not well sealed so I don’t think it’d last long in a damp environment, like a bathroom.I doubt it could hold 300 lbs safely. It would probably be sturdy enough for a young child (~60 lbs).2-stars because it has a cute appearance and it was easy to put together. I’m using it as an indoor plant stand. I suspect previous positive reviewers received a higher quality product. This one is not worth the money.
