I had been using a small mouse pad and often was frustrated by falling off the edge of the pad. Now that never happens. Also the desk sized pad is attractive and serves as a quick reminder of the shortcut keys of the most commonly used products - office and windows the small mouse pad I no longer use is a handy spot for my coffee cup
