I just tried to reorder this absolutely beautiful gift again. I am devasted that they may not carry this item anymore. I just received it and was sooo overwhelmed by the stunning quality and workmanship on the calendar I just had to have more to give to other loved ones. You can imagine how impressed I was by the item when I had already overblown my Xmas budget to the MAX and just had to purchase more because it was one of the loveliest and most meaningful gift one could have!!!!! If the consumer has any influence on you deciding to carry this calendar any longer, I beg you to please give me the opportunity to buy more. When I received the calendar I was so pleased and filled with happiness. I want all of my loved ones to experience the same holiday exhurberince!!! I thank you so much for carrying such a gorgeous calendar at such a reasonable price! The service and monogramming was better than excellent.

I love it! Gave it to my daughter with 2 small children and she said it was a keepsake! It is gorgeous and made very well. The pieces you put in the pockets are precious. What a great way to keep the true meaning of Christmas in our children's hearts... rather than presents. It came sooo fast even though it was personalized. I've ordered another one for my other daughter. Price is very reasonable. I looked at stores and they were $75-$90. Would love it iit came with an extra piece in case one gets lost. Buy it!

My husband and I just moved into our new home. I wanted an advent calendar for this Christmas season, and I was absolutely shocked that the same calendar that I grew up doing was available. My mom got hers over 20 years ago. Seeing it brought back memories, and I knew this was what I wanted to have in our home. It arrived so quickly that Amazon still says that it won't show up for another week or so. The craftsmanship looks sturdy and well-made overall. I discovered that we have 2 angels facing left, instead of one in each direction, but it just fits with our home-building experience. I can't wait to use it!!

We got six years of use from this sweet calendar. The first year was great, and every year the “stickiness” got a little worse. This is year six and all of the figures are falling off. We’ve tried putting new velcro on the figures but we will need to sew velcro dots on the actual scene. It would be improved if the scene you stick the figures to were fuzzier so they stuck better. Otherwise, my kiddos absolutely love this and have gotten so much joy adding the figures each year. It’s one of our favorite things of Christmas and we will probably order a new one next year.

I had one of these 25 years ago for my children while they were growing up. I ordered each of my children one of their own for their own children. I had them customized and shipped directly to their homes. The shipping was incredibly fast! My children have told me they are extremely happy with the quality. I was afraid they would be cheaply made compared to the quality from years ago but, that was not the case - this is just as nice as our original one!

This is a colorful, well-made product. The velcro on the back of each figure sticks quite nicely on the scene. I chose not to personalize mine because I wanted more "open" green area for the kids to stick the figures. The figures are stitched tightly and won't come apart at the seams. They have some adornment on them, i.e. gold/silver thread. They are also very colorful and clearly identified as an animal, an angel, a shepherd, etc. I've also noticed that some advent calendars only have 24 days and this is a 25-day calendar, which I prefer. I am very pleased with this advent calendar.

This was a great addition to our Christmas traditions. I particularly wanted a 25 day calendar and this was one of the few that had 25 pockets. The animals and people are cute. My daughter enjoyed placing something on the calendar each night. I did not have it personalized so that there was more room to put the animals/people -- it does get crowded by Christmas!

We have one for 20 years that’s from the same company that still looks brand new! Our adult children both want the original one but instead we decided to get them each one and had them monogrammed. Passing the tradition on to the next generation! Thank you Pockets of learning for still making these!
