Cool Product, but Possibly Sketchy
These floating candles are such a cool addition to our Harry Potter-themed decor around the fireplace. My wife and I love how they look—they really bring that magical vibe to the room. Plus, they come with everything you need to hang them up, so setting them up was straightforward and easy. But I do have to mention, we had a bit of a scare with one of them. Either the candle or the battery had an issue because the batteries started swelling up and got really hot. Luckily, we noticed it before anything serious happened. It's a bummer because we wanted to absolutely love these, but this issue makes me a bit nervous. So, while they look awesome and work well, I can't give them more than 3 stars.

5 stars for now
The media could not be loaded. It isn’t Halloween yet, so I don’t want to unpack and set all of these up but within the next two or three weeks I will and then I’ll make sure to update my review. For now I just put together one and tested the wand and everything worked as expected. The candles are a little smaller than I was thinking, but not much. I love that this came with everything you need, including the adhesive, the strings, and even the batteries! The flickering effect is great too. Can’t wait to re-create the viral Hogwarts ceiling.

6 of 20 candles DO NOT WORK! Hard to hang with fishing line! DO NOT SUGGEST!
Also, the only way to attach the fishing line is to wrap it around the candle, and when you have to change batteries, you have to redo not only the batteries, but also redo the fishing line. It’s a pain. The lights have been up for two weeks and the timer does not work. So they are on 24 seven unless you take the time to manually walk around and turn them all off with the wand. Again, these are not worth the purchase. And the seller offered me a refund and has yet to give it. They will be being returned.

Floating candles!
These floating candles give the look I am looking for. They come with batteries. That will save time because they do need many batteries. I do not know the longevity of the batteries yet since we just installed them. A fun and safe way to decorate!

I wanted to love these
I really wanted these to be the showpiece of my Halloween decor. The candles are smaller than I expected. The fishing line used for hanging them has to be wrapped around the candles, causing them to tilt. It took a lot of work to get the remote to work. They also look pretty cheap up close. Luckily, they came with batteries but there's no way to know how long they will last. I'll try to use them this fall but I don't think they are what I'd hoped for.

It comes with batteries!!
I got six different sets of floating candles- and this was *the only set* that came with batteries! They take a lot of batteries! This also comes with extremely large suction cups, one for each candle, but I’m not sure why exactly. The downside is that they aren’t strung for hanging, you have to do that yourself. It provides string but you’d have to individually hang them yourself.

A little too novelty. Hard to install the batteries properly.
I'm not a fan of these candles and will likely be returning them. The batteries are loaded through the top of the candle by removing the flame portion. Once the provided batteries are loaded, and to turn on the candles, you have to tighten down the very top of the candle all the way, while hearing the batteries 'crunch' while compressing the internal spring in the battery compartment. The trouble is, is that the candle flame has to be tightened down all the way before the battery makes full contact and the candle flame is smooth and slippery. You have no idea how tempting it was to NOT get a pair of pliers out to tighten that candle flame down. In the end, I was able to get all but two of the candles to light. To make that process even more challenging, however, the instructions state that the fishing line used to hang the candles by is wrapped around the candle flame threads which makes tightening them down properly to light all the more challenging. Because, however, the candle is being suspended by the side of the flame and not the very tip, the candles hang at a slight angle and even the smallest breeze causes them to spin - totally ruining the effect you're trying to achieve.
