Best Wireless Controllers for SNES Classic
These are what the SNES Classic should have come with. In a modern world, we don't have the cords and tethers of the past. Also, we can have a bunch of games pre-loaded in a tiny box rather than storing 20 cartridges somewhere near the TV.The battery life is excellent. Charging is rarely needed and they charge quickly. It's nice to have two controllers for a lot of reasons, but one is so you don't have to really interrupt gaming for charging. But even if you only get one, it's worth it. The 8BITDO controllers are sculpted exactly the same as the original SNES controllers and have a similar heft. They feel *right* in your hands and are well-made. The buttons all respond like you'd expect them to, and feel like they'd last as long as the original SNES controllers have... many of which are still in use. Beyond that, the move to get back to the main screen (left + select) is delightful and non-intrusive - it doesn't make you pause or interfere with whatever you're trying to save. If you want a wireless controller for your SNES (or NES) classic, these are the ones to get.

Excellent controllers, but I seem to suck at the SNES now
Firstly, these controllers are amazing. The setup is super easy, and they feel identical to the SNES controller, except they're wireless. The battery life lasts forever, and they can be easily charged with the USB cable that comes with it.However, now that I'm using these controllers and playing SNES games that I haven't played in 25 years, I've noticed that I'm no longer good at these games. I have a distinct memory of being "the master" at most of these games. Rather than blaming age or my own atrophying gaming skills, I have decided to blame these controllers instead. So beware! Although these controllers are amazing, you may find that when you use them you suck at most of the games, especially if you haven't played them in forever.

Perfect In Every Way
These work as advertised and as expected. The ability to reset the console from the controller is a game changer (literally haha). There is no lag to the buttons and no connectivity issues. They're basically perfect.Works on both NES and SNES.The following are nothing more than nit picks. 1) It's too bad they're some generic off brand. It'd be nice if they had the Nintendo logo front and center on the controller. 2) There is no way to differentiate the units (player 1 vs player 2) as far as I can tell. A Sharpie will fix that in half a second, but still.

Great for SNES and NES classic... and nothing else.
These controllers are amazing. They feel just like the old school controllers. They are built solidly, they respond great, and I can't detect even the smallest flicker of input lag, regardless of what game I put it up against. The battery life is unbelievable, and I never found myself needing to recharge or swap controllers mid game. Easy to use, easy to hook up, and function great for the systems they were designed for. That being said, if you were planning on getting these as wireless controllers for the SNES and NES classic and were planning on using them for gaming on your computer or as a bluetooth controller for any other device, think again. Apparently the 2.4 g format controllers are unable to link to any other device aside from their bundled receivers. Even 8bitdo's own hardware, like the retro receiver or the usb receiver do not recognize this controller at all.To be fair, 8bitdo does mention this drawback with all of their other products, but they neglect to mention that this device is incompatible with all other 8bitdo's hardware on the SN30's description. It feels like a deliberately engineered flaw, designed to make you go out and buy an SN30 Pro if you want that wireless functionality on other consoles, when these could have easily been designed to be read by other devices.

great Product!
the product came in great condition specially the boxes since I was looking to keep the boxes with the snes mini boxes and I can do that. the product is of very high quality I really like it, there is no lag between the snes mini and the controller. I recommend it. one thing to consider is the version of this controller is not the BT version it only work with the dongle that connect to the snes/nes/wii/wii u and work with 2.4g wireless and in the manual say that it can be connected using the include usb cable to a pc.

Best Way to Play NES & SNES Classic
I picked these up in order to play the nes and snes classics since the wires were so dang short (was a very poor idea to make them so short). For 50 bucks (sometimes cheaper) I feel this is a good buy because the 2 controllers work for both classic editions, are of quality construction, work very well, hold a good charge, and the individual carrying cases are a really nice touch.

PERFECT! Great build quality and work exactly as intended
I'm going to be honest...I think these feel higher quality than the SNES Classic controllers themselves. The buttons feel better, the controller has a little more heft. Everything feels more substantial. Plus....they're wireless. You literally just plug in the dongle to the SNES classic and it pairs in a matter of seconds. No latency issues at all. Very happy with my purchase!
