The item quality is pretty good, well built, connection is automatic after initial setup so quite convenient, we have iPhone but I think it works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, . (Sorry, I don’t have an Android, so I can’t speak to how well that works) we have used it for around a week now with Apple Carplay and its been ok.The bike now looks more stylish than before, and we are all very happy about it.Having Google maps on the go is a definate breeze, espicially with updated live traffic.We can also control the music, take phone calls from the little quick thumb ring pad which is an add on.The control is smooth, and the quick control offers even more convenient so we can control most of the functions with ease.UK has not rained recently but we are never short of rainfalls so will update that if had problems will report back later on.Switching from Cardo to this is a big jump but once you get used to it, it is more similar to driving a car now.I received everything I needed to install and to use this unit immediately, and more. The manual (yes, I read it) says to wire the power cord to a wire that’s switched on and off with the ignition. However I like to set up my route before turning on the ignition, So it turns off immediately when I disconnect the power. However I didn’t want to have to reconnect my phone every time I turned the ignition off. Unlike the Garmin, this has no built-in battery, but I think this is safer as it will be exposed under direct sunlight for most if its life. So I wired it directly to the battery instead.The screen is bright enough even in direct sunlight, and is also crystal clear. I had carplay in my car so this is a great add on.

I was struggling to find a suitable gift for my son-in-law when thankfully I came acrooss this carplay device for motorcycles. A great alternative I thought, instead of attaching his phone to the handlebars. This has a decent sized 6.25” clear screen, and obviously completely waterproof, as it is designed to use outdoors. The screen is thankfully adapted so even in bright sunlight/daylight, it is easy to see, as well as not misting up in the rain. It provides him with all the navigation details, along with instant safe access to his phone, music etc. I am assured he does pull over, and use the phone only when stationary; but glancing a directions etc. can safely done whilst travelling.I haven't actually seen it working yet but I am assured the recipient is absolutely delighted with it. He says because of the weather which is mainly rain that he is having to contend with at the moment, but the screen remains perfectly clear throughout his journey to work, and back, even after dark.Once secured with the attachment included it remains safely in place, but is also easy enough to remove at the end of the journey.I'm told that pairing with his phone was a smooth and easy task, and completed in seconds; attaching to the bike straight forward, following the instruction in the clearly written manual.So very pleased to say he is absolutely delighted with this carplay device; been in use for the last week and used every day; so comes recommended.

As someone who's fed up with clamping my iPhone to the handlebars on my touring bike, this little marvel has been a true revelation. Its works with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to connect with your smart phone allowing you to access map navigation, phone calls, music playback, text messaging on the lovely bright 6.25 inch touchscreen mounted securely on the handlebars.A quick weekend ride up to the Scottish Highlands, rain and all, proved its worth as it stayed securely in place and operated flawlessly. The waterproof feature came in handy, and I didn't have to worry about my kit getting soaked. Navigating through maps and taking calls hands-free while winding through scenic routes was such a breeze.My only complaint is that I wish it had a slightly larger screen to make reading text easier while riding. Essential for any cyclist craving convenience and durability on the go.

I don't personally have a bike but my brother does so this was for his birthday and he gave ne the following bits of info:Lots of features, more than he expected. Almost like having his phone attached.Really good clear screen and the touchscreen is perfectly responsive and a good size ( 6.25-inch IPS) also auto adjusts the brightness which is very handy.We tested with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, and both connected and worked flawlessly and the integreation was perfect for music, phone, messaging and mostly Google Maps.Weather has been a bit rough here lately but the screen stood it no problem and was reliable throughout.The remote control which went onto his handlebar was spot on too, and saves much distraction when driving, also voice assistant but he prefers the control.So far he is really pleased with it and is looking forward to summer when he can take longer trips.
