It covered a very large area
I have a very large backyard and I was very pleased that the range it covered was perfect. It cut my time in half. I did not have to keep moving like I did with my prior sprinkler.

One flaw with the design otherwise a very good product.
the pipe that leads to the sprinkler head has a plastic fitting between the aluminum water supply pipe and the brass looking fitting you screw the sprinkler head into. That piece of plastic has broken in earlier purchases which makes thetripod sprinkler unusable.Flaw in the design us a metal fitting and not plastic to the water supply line.

Good little impact sprinkler!
I just received this impact sprinkler and tripod 4 days ago, and below are my thoughts:This is not a commercial sprinkler! I am on 1.8 acres of which only 1/5th of that directly in front of my home do I care to water. The tripod reminds me of a camera tripod. It is aluminum with plastic leg clips. For the price point of < $50.00 I think it is more than adequate for larger yards. The adjustments to the impact head travel, water disbursement and leg elevation extensions were easy to get exactly what I wanted covered, in about 2 minutes. With the water pressure here I had good coverage about 40' out and 200 degrees of travel. The impact sprinkler worked well. Again, this is not a commercial product - especially at $50 - but was a little disappointed the head had a "pot metal" exterior; but the internal appeared to be brass as did the female hose connector. This product is well worth the price point and I feel it will easily last multiple summer seasons here in Central Texas. Good product.
