I got this to keep out those awful flies - all of them really, but especially the ones which drive you mad with the loud buzzing sound they make. Ugh.My windows are huge, so this was not enough to cover two windows. However, I was able to cover the smaller, top sections of three windows after judicious measurement, as these sections open separately from the larger portions.On paper, the instructions looked rather daunting, so many steps to perform before attaching the actual screen. However, if you proceed slowly, then it all goes well. You have to go slowly if you don't have much in the way of margins (room for error).The mesh itself is soft, light, fine. But the grid is not small enough to keep out tiny insects. Wily mosquitoes will still get in, as my bug zapper reminded me last night. It definitely does what I want it to do, which is keep those flies out, so I can finally risk opening the windows all day without being innundated!

We’re using this screen to both keep insects out and to keep cats in. It was easy to install following the instructions and seems to be doing a good job of keeping flies and more importantly spiders out of the room when the window is left open.The only slight issue we had was that our window handles push against the screen when the window is closed. Luckily we had the window closed when we were fitting the mesh and were able to leave a little bit of slack in it to account for the handle.

This is a good quality magnetic screen which is very easy to install as long as you are able to measure accurately and cut in a straight line! The fibre glass material has its advantages as well as disadvantages though as it is stiff and durable, but at the same time is quite pokey around the edges. It is best to hide the ends well within the region of the adhesive magnetic tape so you don't get jabbed in the finger as it can be quite sharp if not careful - a bit like a paper cut. The construction is good though with an adhesive PVC strip for the top layer and corner tabs to make it easy to lift to close windows, for example. In conclusion, very happy with this fly screen but could have done with a bit more material to cover some additional windows.

Took me 10 minutes to set up and cut all the pieces, you just push it all together, you don’t need any tools other than scissors
