This light is first class arrived on time very easy to assemble and gives a perfect light on my desk with no shadows and I can still see the computer screen without any problems well worth the price

the light is flicker free very easy on the eyes and bright without glare

At the time of writing this lamp is very expensive indeed (£300). So everything about it should be the best! The light quality is excellent, with different colour temperatures and effective fading from dim to very bright. In addition, the actual light housing is very large (wide), enabling you to get a really good even coverage over your work area. It has some other very useful features such as a timer and an infra-red detector to allow it to turn on and off automatically.The stand though, is elegant and good looking, but doesn't offer the flexibility I would want of a lamp. The main arm has two sections with an elbow between. However, the lower section doesn't go back very far, so it's difficult to get the lamp low. The other issue is that the hinge at the top attaching the light housing itself only has two degrees of movement. This means although the light can be angled up and down and you can move it from side-to-side, there is no way to tip it, so that one end is higher than the other. This lamp is clearly designed to be squarely in the centre of your desk and is not going to play nicely if you have a large computer monitor it has to work around.So although this light is very good, I don't consider it good value given the very high cost and the limitations of the stand. This light feels like it wants to be the centre of attention, rather than whatever you're using it to illuminate!

Everything about this desk lamp screams quality, and lets face it for the price it should.The lamp comes well packaged in a very professional looking box, there is some weight to it too. The lamp requires a very small bit of assembly but this does not require any tools to complete. Once assembled the lamp feels rock solid.The mains adaptor has a lead that is just under 2m and there is a small bullet connector near the lamp end of the cable, this means that if you need to pass the cable through a desk hole the hole only needs to be quite small, much smaller than what is needed for a standard UK mains plug.Once the lamp is in position on your desk there is a big of range of motion of the lamp enabling you to get the light source in the best position for your needs.The lamp is simple to operate, everything is controlled from one touch sensitive panel on the lamp head, there are several buttons for pre-set modes for things like reading and working, these set the colour temperature and brightness to the factory defined values. There are also controls to adjust the brightness manually, the colour temperature is fixed by the mode chosen.There are a couple of other buttons for extra features like a light sensor mode and motion sensing, which will automatically turn the light off if there is no motion detected for a period of time.Overall, this is a very high quality lamp with useful features and an excellent eye friendly light output, yes it's expensive but if you are after the best this lamp will not disappoint.
